Only after a long while did someone with keen senses finally notice something wrong with their body-and spot Zhuo Yue, Han Yaru, and Li Xunming closing in from the side.
"Run! Those three are here!"
Someone finally shouted, alerting everyone on the battlefield to the trio's presence.
"So you noticed? Too late now, though."
Li Xunming smiled at his Pokémon busily working nearby. After all this time, everyone on the field had been afflicted with paralysis. They had been no match for the three of them to begin with; under this debilitating condition, they stood no chance at all.

In their panic, everyone fled into the mine. Of course they knew there was a trap inside, but a trap was still far better than the monsters outside. Entering the mine gave them a chance to survive. Staying outside meant certain elimination.
They were the ones who had survived round after round of eliminations, and each of them had plenty of points. Getting knocked out just like this would be far too much of a loss!
