Chu Xin took Luo Luo's suggestion. It was easy enough to arrange: he went to the Dean and readily obtained four Rotom that had just finished their training. The machines they possessed weren't as good as Luo Luo's, though. After all, Luo Luo was the first Breeding Rotom, essentially a prototype Pokémon, so of course Jindu Academy had used its best resources to raise Luo Luo. These later Rotom were mass-produced and couldn't compare at all. They could only learn gradually.
Luo Luo didn't look down on these fellow Rotom at all. They only needed to handle a few simple tasks, not do anything else.
With four little assistants, Luo Luo's work became much easier. Simply handing off some basic data collection tasks to these Rotom took a considerable load off.
Ah, too bad these fellow Rotom knew so little. They'd have to be trained slowly. How long would it take to get completely free of all this work?
Luo Luo now understood the joy Chu Xin found in slacking off. Who wanted to do the work themselves when someone else could help?
Once all the tasks had been assigned, Chu Xin had nothing left to do. Finally free, he could get some proper rest.
But just as Chu Xin was about to rest, someone came to disturb him.
"Chu Xin? Chu Xin? Are you there?"
The door to Chu Xin's dorm room swung straight open, and Bai Le walked in, full of energy. Lying in bed, Chu Xin pulled the blanket over his head in frustration, unwilling to see the person interrupting his rest.
I'd finally gotten some time off. Couldn't he just let me rest for a while?
Don't come looking for me if there's nothing wrong! Don't come looking for me if there is, either!
Bai Le
