After parting ways with Chu Xin, Ai Xing immediately headed for the hideout she was to raid. Once there, she swiftly and expertly subdued every Thief inside, then called the Special Police.
"The mission's complete. Come pick them up. Do you have any other intelligence?"
"Not at the moment. Thank you for your hard work, Dragon Tamer Elite Four. We'll be there shortly."
Ai Xing nodded. At last, she could take a breather. Clearing out every Thief hideout in a single day had left even her a little tired. What should she do next?
"Oh, right. Look into someone named Virgil. See if you have any records on him."
"Virgil? Why are you investigating him?"
Ai Xing told the Special Police what had happened to Chu Xin and the others, and the experienced officers quickly identified the key information.
"From what you've told us, it sounds like Virgil is the real mastermind behind the Thieves in the Uninhabited Zone. Their actions also seem to involve fossils. I do recall someone like that. Our database does have a record of someone with the same name. It's most likely this Virgil."
The Special Police really were reliable. They had found the information so quickly. This would save her plenty of time.
"Let's hear it. We might actually find a lead."
A short while later, the officer began relaying their findings to Ai Xing over the phone.
"Virgil is one of the leaders of an illegal international organization based in Eagle Country. The organization searches for fossils around the world, hoping to find something special. However, they're essentially a cult. They claim that gods capable of destroying the world exist, and that these gods will eventually descend upon the world and bring disaster. Their organization believes that by actively guiding these gods into
