Inside the cave, a Gengar seized the moment while everyone was distracted to snatch Chu Xin and Xiao Wu, who were wreathed in flames. Then an old man appeared in the cave.
"I thought the plans we set in motion outside would be enough to hold you back. I never expected things to go off script in the end. Ai Xing joining you brought you here ahead of schedule. That really surprised me."
But as the old man looked at Xiao Wu and Chu Xin beside him, a smile spread across his face.

The old man gave a gentlemanly bow, facing everyone with a calm expression.

Ai Xing wasted no words and immediately ordered Dragonite to launch a surprise attack. Dragonite charged toward Gengar with Quick Attack, trying to snatch Chu Xin back, but Gengar swiftly pressed a claw against Chu Xin's throat.
