One day half a month later, Electrike threw himself onto Chu Xin's **, weeping with joy. Chu Xin had been asleep, and having Electrike plop down on him made his eyes roll back.
"What are you doing? Can't you see I'm sleeping?"
Chu Xin was furious, but Electrike paid him no mind. He stuck out his tongue and licked Chu Xin's face over and over, completely ignoring his anger.
With a helpless look, Chu Xin grabbed Electrike's face and pushed him aside. He checked the time, saw that it was already past nine, then started getting dressed.
He had planned to sleep in today, but Electrike's antics had driven away every trace of sleepiness. Electrike, meanwhile, showed no remorse at all and kept darting excitedly around him.
After washing his face and getting ready, Chu Xin looked at the still-excited Electrike beside him. Resigned, he crouched down and held him in place, making him sit.
