Chu Xin stared at Kaka in surprise. Why had he been unable to evolve just moments ago, only to suddenly succeed now?
"This is fantastic! Fantastic! I can't believe there's a discovery like this!"
Up in the air, Luo Luo excitedly used every resource at his disposal to carefully analyze the changes in Kaka's body. His exclamations inevitably drew Chu Xin's attention.
"What exactly happened? Hurry up and explain, Luo Luo!"
At Chu Xin's request, Luo Luo calmed down and began explaining.
"My research on Kaka led me to a major discovery: under certain specific influences, Zacian's and Zamazenta's powers can actually resonate with each other. That resonance was what allowed Kaka to evolve!"
"Then why couldn't he evolve before? Wasn't he using Zacian's and Zamazenta's powers then, too?"
Chu Xin looked up at Luo Luo in confusion. As a battle-oriented Pokémon Trainer, he knew nothing about research and could only turn to Luo Luo for help.
Luo Luo showed no sign of finding it troublesome and continued patiently explaining things to Chu Xin. After all, Chu Xin was still his Trainer, and his role at Chu Xin's side had always been to make up for his shortcomings in research.
"Kaka does evolve by using Zacian's and Zamazenta's powers, but there are some subtle requirements concerning how those two powers are used."
To explain things more clearly to Chu Xin, Luo Luo retrieved Kaka's information from the Data Library, then constructed a 3D model of Kaka and projected it into the Training Room.
"Next, I'll demonstrate the flow of energy inside Kaka's body. Blue represents his innate psychic energy, red represents Zamazenta's power, and white represents Zacian's power."
