"No way! You really did jinx us!"
"You're blaming me? What for? It's not like I can control these Tentacruel!"
"But they showed up right after you said it! What else am I supposed to say?"
While the two were bickering, the Tentacruel had already spotted them. The hot-tempered Tentacruel would never tolerate intruders in their territory, so they immediately gathered their companions and charged at Chu Xin and Bai Le.
As the swarm of Tentacruel drew closer, Chu Xin grew anxious and hurriedly urged Bai Le, who was driving the speedboat:
"Hurry up! Those Tentacruel are coming straight at us!"
"I'm already going as fast as I can!"
Bai Le gripped the speedboat's steering wheel tightly and sped into the distance. Their priority now was to escape the Tentacruel's encirclement. If those Tentacruel surrounded them, they would be in serious trouble.
When bad luck struck, whatever you feared most was exactly what happened. Within minutes, the surrounding Tentacruel had encircled Chu Xin and Bai Le. They were packed so densely that there was no way to count how many Pokémon there were.
Chu Xin went pale as he stared at the Tentacruel around them. Why were there so many Tentacruel?
"Didn't you say there weren't any Tentacruel the last time you came here?"
"I-I don't know! There really weren't any last time!"
At this point, blaming Bai Le any further was pointless. These Tentacruel were among the few truly vicious Pokémon, and getting caught by them could genuinely cost the two their lives. Breaking through with just the speedboat was impossible now. They would have to find another way.
Chu Xin took a Poké Ball from his belt, then swallowed as he glanced at the Tentacruel around them.
"Bai Le, forget the speedboat. It's useless with this many Tentacruel
