In the woods, Chu Xin rode on Xiao Wu's back as they flew through the dense forest, with the frenzied Steelix right behind them.
With its enormous body, Steelix knocked down every tree in its path. Any environmental organization that saw this would surely condemn it, but judging by Steelix's crazed eyes, it clearly cared nothing for such minor issues. After all, it had no reason left, only madness.
"Come on, come on. Let me see where I should finish you off."
Sitting on Xiao Wu's back, Chu Xin looked behind him. The rampaging Steelix was even easier to handle than he had imagined. Ever since they had left the Secret Realm, it had followed him without pausing for even a moment.
Drawing Steelix's attention meant Chu Xin had already accomplished half the task, and Bai Le had done an excellent job with his own assignment.
So far, Chu Xin had not seen a single frenzied Pokémon appear in the woods. It seemed Bai Le had sealed the entrance to the Secret Realm tight, giving Chu Xin and Steelix an undisturbed arena for their duel-though, of course, it was one against three.
With Chu Xin luring it along, Steelix finally followed him onto a relatively flat stretch of grassland. Once they arrived, Chu Xin finally stopped.
"The terrain here is pretty good. Let's make this our battlefield."
Chu Xin then summoned all the Pokémon he had with him. Kaka and Electrike watched the charging Steelix eagerly, ready to fight.
"Xiao Wu, Fire Blast!"
Chu Xin ordered Xiao Wu to interrupt Steelix's charge with Fire Blast. Though the rampaging Steelix had lost its reason, it was still immensely powerful. Of Chu Xin's current Pokémon, only Xiao Wu, who had evolved into Dragonite, could stop it.
