Chu Xin stayed at Magic City Academy for a few more days. During that time, he gradually got to know Bai Yuan better, only to discover that his personality was exactly like his younger brother Bai Le's: both were easygoing and carefree.
Early that morning, Chu Xin got up and headed to the Battle Club. He and Bai Yuan had agreed yesterday to meet there.
"Hey, Chu Xin, you're up pretty early. I thought you'd come a little later."
Chu Xin yawned as he looked at Bai Yuan. He had indeed gone to bed rather late last night, but Kaka had woken him early that morning. With his regular training routine, Kaka never stayed up late.
Chu Xin glanced helplessly at Kaka beside him, but the sight of Magic City Academy's training room had already driven Kaka wild with longing. He paid Chu Xin no attention at all.
Kaka had spotted the equipment in the training room when they arrived yesterday. The equipment here was better than what the Jindu Battle Club had by far.
Kaka pressed himself against the Battle Club's glass, gazing into the training room and practically drooling.

Chu Xin ignored Kaka and turned to Bai Yuan.
"How are things going for you at Magic City Academy? Is the learning environment good?"
Bai Yuan smiled at Chu Xin.
"Pretty good. Magic City Academy really lives up to its reputation as a top academy. Even with my talent, I'm not among the very best here. Fortunately, I work hard enough that I managed to join the Battle Club as an Official Member."
"That's great. I'm an Official Member of the Battle Club too. I only joined a few days ago."
"So you joined the Battle Club too! I was just about to ask you."
