Once again, Kaka was knocked to the ground by Pawniard, leaving Chu Xin no choice but to take him to the Treatment Center.

Chu Xin looked at Luo Luo helplessly.

"Why do you think Kaka still can't beat that Pawniard? I feel like his swordsmanship is already good enough, so why can that Pawniard always spot the openings in his technique?"

Luo Luo looked at Chu Xin awkwardly. Honestly, Luo Luo wanted to know the answers too. Luo Luo was chiefly responsible for Kaka's training, after all, and every part of it followed Luo Luo's plans. In theory, once Kaka completed that training, his swordsmanship should have been on par with that Pawniard's. So why was he still unable to win?

Had I gone wrong somewhere?

Chu Xin lowered his head in puzzlement. It really felt as though Kaka had hit a wall. No matter how hard he worked now, he still couldn't beat Pawniard.

Thinking back over the battle, Chu Xin noticed something strange. No matter where Kaka attacked from, even when he was faster, that Pawniard could quickly detect his attacks. At first, Chu Xin had put it down to Pawniard's combat experience, but after so many battles, with Kaka losing the same way every time, experience alone couldn't explain it. That Pawniard had to possess some means of detection that Kaka knew nothing about. That was why, wherever Kaka launched an attack from, he couldn't escape Pawniard's notice.

Chu Xin shared his theory with Luo Luo. With recordings of every battle on hand, Luo Luo quickly checked the footage and confirmed his suspicions.

"That's right. That Pawniard does have some way of sensing Kaka's attacks that we don't know about. Almost every time Kaka attacks, Pawniard detects it beforehand and prepares a defense."

Luo Luo sighed helplessly.
