Yue Shen, Long Haochen, and Li Xin attended the Knight Temple’s second elimination round, where Yang Wenzhao struck up a conversation with Yue Shen. As the matches began, Yue Shen abruptly entered and left meditation, leaving Yang Wenzhao baffled.
Li Xin used her evolved level six Rose Unicorn to defeat contestant number forty-six, and Long Haochen then faced Gui Wu in the arena. Long Haochen’s Build Momentum attack overwhelmed Gui Wu, while Yue Shen revealed that he had already learned the skill.
After Long Haochen defeated Gui Wu, officials tested his spiritual power and confirmed his victory, while Yue Shen left the arena and encountered Long Haochen with Cai'er. The chapter ended with the Second Elimination Round complete and the format for the next rounds established.
Yue Shen saw Lin Jialu and the Chen brothers off before the Knight Temple began its Third Elimination Round, where five fifth-tier contestants drew attention. At the Mage Trial Grounds, Gandalf began his match against Number Thirty-Seven, while the Priest Temple held its final elimination round.
Xue Meng defeated Sima Xian in the Priest Temple preliminaries by using Discipline Priest techniques, surprising the contestants and officials. Afterward, Sima wondered how she knew he could use Berserk, while another unusual match ended at the Knight Trial Grounds with Han Yu demanding a rematch after losing to a weaker opponent.
After Han Yu received his punishment, Yue Shen entered his first match against Number Twenty-One, a fourth-tier Grand Knight. Yue Shen overwhelmed his opponent without summoning his mount, and the chapter ended as he raised his flame-coated swords for another attack.
Yue Shen overwhelmed Knight Number Twenty-One, then reached the preliminaries’ top ten after Number Forty-Four surrendered without entering the arena. The remaining knights faced the next draw as Yue Shen began to suspect the tournament’s matchups were not being rigged.
