"Commander, can you really catch fish like that?" Bai Xiaoxiao asked Yang Tian, her face full of doubt and curiosity.
Surely Yang Tian wasn't serious about fishing with a straight hook.
Yang Tian gave a mysterious smile. "Of course!"
Then he added, "Haven't I already caught five little fish?"
His meaning was clear enough. Their commander had been fishing for... them.
Looking at his dumbfounded teammates, Yang Tian smiled faintly. Then he flicked his fishing rod, sending the straight hook and line flying in a graceful arc into the pond.
He gave a sharp tug, hauling six fish out of the water, all bound by the fishing line. He apologized to them, "Sorry, there's no other way. I'll have to sacrifice you to feed these people!"
Li Ang eyed the plump fish their commander had raised and grinned goofily. "Time for a fish feast!"
Once they had eaten and drunk their fill, it was time to move.
