Yang Haohan smiled in satisfaction at Yang Tian's eagerness. Still, he could not teach him everything simply because he wanted to learn. If he progressed too quickly, what would there be left to teach him?
That was a problem!
"No rush. We'll begin tomorrow!"
"Your time for learning skills is over for today. It's time to go back and rest!"
Yang Haohan looked at Yang Tian with a kindly smile.
Yang Tian nodded and bowed respectfully.
Then he asked earnestly, "Grandpa Yang, I'd like to borrow some books recording the different kinds of demons. I want to learn their strengths and weaknesses so I can counter them in the future!"
"Only by knowing yourself and your enemy can you win every battle!"
To finish, Yang Tian added this line based on the little military strategy he had learned.
Know yourself and your enemy, and you will never be defeated!
The meaning was more or less the same.
"You can ask Holy Knight Commander Han Qian for those. His collection on that subject is quite comprehensive!"
Yang Haohan nodded, inwardly stirred as he mulled over those words.
He's only seven or eight, yet he already has such a deep understanding of warfare. As expected of a Child of Light with perfect Innate Internal Spiritual Power!
His emotions surged. At last, he watched Yang Tian leave and shook his head.
"This little fellow learns far too quickly. Even an old man like me has to bring out a few of his best-kept secrets!"
Yang Haohan smiled self-deprecatingly, but this was a good thing.
Perhaps he should not simply keep teaching him skills. Once he finished learning and passed through the necessary stage of development, there would be something else for him.
The battlefield was the natural place best suited to honing him.
