Yang Tian advanced from Odin Town’s Child Hall to the Haoyue Branch Hall, where he passed the Squire assessment and became Ye Hua’s disciple. After intensive preparation, he was brought to the Light Element chamber to awaken his internal spiritual power.

• Yang Tian passed the Child Hall assessment at twelve spiritual energy and persuaded Balza to let him study meditation early, later raising his spiritual power to eighty-nine.
• Yang Tian hunted magical beasts on Mount Odin, killed a Scorpion-Tailed Lizard, found Red Refining Fruits, and reached the ninth-level Squire rank.
• Yang Tian protected Long Haochen from a black wolf, then left Odin Town with Balza to take the Squire assessment at Haoyue Branch Hall.
• Yang Tian scored 183 on the Test Pillar, and Lin Zhan discovered that he was seven rather than twelve, and Yang Tian asked him not to punish Balza for falsifying his age.
• Nalan Shu introduced Ye Hua as Yang Tian’s potential master, and Ye Hua gave Yang Tian a Knight-grade heavy sword and promised to teach him wholeheartedly.
• Yang Tian discovered that his roommate Li Xin was a girl and told Ye Hua that he wanted to become a Guardian Knight to protect those he cared about.

• Nalan Shu and Ye Hua awakened Yang Tian, whose innate internal spiritual power reached ninety-nine points before the Goddess of Light blessed him.
• Yang Tian began training as a Guardian Knight, teamed up with Li Xin and Lin Jialu, and faced demon beasts near Purple Star Town.
• After Yang Tian and his companions killed a level-four Demon-Patterned Tiger, the Purple Star Three Fiends attacked them, and their Grand Knight extracted Yang Tian’s concentrated Light Element.
• Ye Hua sought help from the Holy Temple, where Han Qian and Yang Haohan arranged for Ling Xiao to use the Priest Temple’s reconstruction method on Yang Tian.
• Ling Xiao restored Yang Tian’s spiritual power, which rose to one hundred and one points, and Yang Tian chose to remain with the Knights rather than join the Priest Temple.
• Ye Hua equipped Yang Tian, while Yang Haohan welcomed him to Spirit-Riding Valley and arranged training in meditation, combat, and fourth-tier skills.
• Li Jie escorted Yang Tian to a protected cultivation room, where Yang Tian absorbed Light Element and increased his spiritual power.

Yang Tian advanced his Guardian and Retribution training, searched for a mount companion, and returned with Little White Puff after forming an unknown contract. After rejecting Lin Jialu and beginning the Spirit Furnace trial, he gained thought power from All-Thoughts-Extinguished.

• Yang Tian trained with Yang Haohan, learned Guardian forms and Retribution skills, and created Light, Illuminate before passing Yang Haoyu’s trial.
• Yang Tian visited Knight Sacred Mountain, declined the Star King as a mount, and received the Instant Slash technique from a cloaked expert after confronting the Bat King.
• The Teleportation Array sent Yang Tian to a dying divine beast, which entrusted him with its child before an unknown contract formed and brought him back unconscious.
• Yang Tian named the little white beast Nian, nicknamed her Coo-Coo, and returned with Li Jie while learning to care for her.
• Yang Tian reunited with Lin Jialu and Li Xin, sold a Spirit-Nurturing Fruit to fund Little White Puff’s food, and rejected Lin Jialu after Li Xin revealed her feelings.
• Yang Haohan took Yang Tian to Spirit-Riding Valley, where Yang Tian absorbed and shattered the Spirit Furnace before its fragments reassembled.
• Yang Tian gained thought power from All-Thoughts-Extinguished, though he had not yet learned to use the Spirit Furnace or its damaged weapon.

Yang Tian served at Imperial Dragon Pass, returned home to visit his grandmother and old friends, and brought He Xiaowu back to the battlefield to atone for his crimes. The arc left Yang Tian recovering after breaking through to Level 5 Grand Knight and He Xiaowu determined to stand on his own.

• Yang Tian joined the Thirteenth Battalion, proved himself in battle, rose through its ranks, and developed tactics that the Holy Temple recorded.
• After leaving the battalion, Yang Tian confronted He Xiaowu and later took him to the Knight Main Hall, where he persuaded the townspeople to let the young man atone by fighting demons.
• On the road, Yang Tian met the deaf Cai'er, befriended her, and promised to treat her as his little sister before returning to his grandmother in Odin Town.
• Yang Tian visited Balza and Long Haochen, made wooden and Purple Bamboo Swords, and then stopped at the Haoyue Branch Hall to see Ye Hua and his old friends.
• Yang Tian apologized to Lin Jialu after Li Xin confronted him, then returned to the Holy City and set out for Imperial Dragon Pass with Li Jie and He Xiaowu.
• Yang Tian introduced He Xiaowu to the Thirteenth Battalion, protected him during a demon assault, and broke through to Level 5 Grand Knight while fighting a sixth-rank Flying Demon.
• Li Jie killed the wounded Flying Demon, and Yang Tian woke the next day to hear He Xiaowu promise to fight demons and stand on his own.
