Naruto World

Yang Cheng transmigrated into an orphan whose ninja parents had died during the Nine-Tails’ Rampage eleven years earlier. His father died saving his friend Inoichi Yamanaka. He loses to mind control but establishes that he can fight well above Academy level. Following graduation, he matches Anko’s ninjutsu during her assessment and becomes a member of Team 6 3 6 7 10.

Saving Cocoyasi Village

At thirteen, One Piece Yang Cheng interrupts Arlong’s attack on Bellemere, breaks his wrist, and kicks him through several buildings. He defeats the surrounding fish-men and uses Azure Flame against Arlong. Rather than allow the pirates’ bounties to be stolen, he exposes Captain Nezumi’s collusion in front of Momousagi and secures payment 14 15 16 18 19.

Bellemere supports his subsequent departure. He spends half a month with his family before sailing away, promises Nami they will meet again at sea, and discovers Bellemere’s letter among his packed clothes 20.

Bounty Hunting and the Crocodile Conflict

Yang Cheng develops his combat skills while hunting pirates across the East Blue and Grand Line, eventually joining Baroque Works as Mr. 5. Despite defeating pirates worth over one hundred million Beli with Miss Valentine, he has no interest in promotion 21 22.

His decision to help Vivi draws Crocodile to Whiskey Peak. Yang Cheng chooses that battlefield to keep the fight away from Alabasta and exploit Crocodile’s dependence on his Devil Fruit.
