To conclude that they were inside the moon based on such scant clues was rather rash.

Uchiha Senmon shook his head, set those distracting thoughts aside for now, and asked Hyuga Miko:

"Lady Miko, what exactly is going on?"

They had thought that being summoned into Moon City meant entering a den of danger, yet everything was unexpectedly peaceful, which only made them more uneasy.

"This is also my first time setting foot in Moon City since Princess Kaguya occupied it. According to ancient lore, day and night in Moon City are reversed from those in the mortal world," Hyuga Miko said in a cool voice.

"Princess Kaguya couldn't possibly be unaware that we've arrived. Why hasn't she shown herself?"

Kabuto Yakushi adjusted his glasses, a thoughtful look appearing in his eyes.

"Princess Kaguya is waiting for 'nightfall.' Only at night can she unleash her full strength."

Uchiha Senmon glanced at his mechanical watch again. If day and night here were reversed, and it was nearly midnight outside, that meant they had roughly six hours until the decisive battle.

"Let's use this time to discuss our battle plan."

Uchiha Senmon spoke gravely. Tosu Hideo and Mineko Yuki immediately grew serious, while an interested look appeared on Kabuto Yakushi's face.

"Our objective is to defeat or seal Princess Kaguya and end Mount Fuji's eruption."

Uchiha Senmon glanced at Kabuto Yakushi and Hyuga Miko a few times before continuing.

"Much as I hate to admit it, Tosu and Yuki, two newly awakened Superhumans, and I would amount to nothing more than dead weight even together. Ninety percent of this mission rests on Lady Miko, and the remaining ten percent on Mr. Kabuto Yakushi."

Kabuto Yakushi smiled. "There are three of you from the Metropolitan Police Department, yet you have so little confidence?"
