As the calls grew louder, Master of Open Stratagems raised a hand to signal for silence.
Only after everyone quieted down did Master of Open Stratagems frown and offer his analysis:
"Against raw power, the role schemes can play is diminished to almost nothing."
"The enemy's strength already overwhelms ours. Schemes alone won't work."
"We need to find his weaknesses and target them. In the end, we'll be able to deal with him."
After all that buildup, Master of Open Stratagems had only offered such vague remarks, naturally drawing everyone's displeasure.
"Well, well, well... who was it who said strength didn't matter? Master, aren't you contradicting yourself?"
"We've been tangling with this NPC for so long. If he really had any weaknesses, wouldn't we have found them already? Would we need you spouting nonsense here?"
"Ha! The way I see it, certain people are just fishing for fame and pretending to be experts. Now you can't back down, can you? Pah! Serves you right!"
"Hmph! Don't you dare slander the master like that! If he hadn't come up with the plan to burn the Grass Ninja, would we have this expansion update now?"
"Exactly! You take the benefits, then turn around and curse the person who gave them to you. Aren't you being a little too self-serving? If you don't want to listen, just get lost, all right?"
"Hey! You little brat, are you asking for a beating?..."
Disputes were a normal response when people encountered a thorny problem.
But taking the opportunity to stir up trouble and kick someone while he was down was utterly underhanded.
Master of Open Stratagems had quite a headache himself. The enemy before them was simply too perfect.
So perfect that he could not think of a way to counter him for the moment.
