Caesar Clown blamed Vegapunk for his misfortunes and sought funding to resume his Dead Nation research. At Big Mom’s Tea Party, he encountered Xie Wen’s companions and Sherry, whom he believed was Smiley.

• After returning to Punk Hazard, Caesar Clown found Smiley and much of the equipment gone, then escaped Cipher Pol agents and was blamed for Xie Wen’s theft, raising his bounty to five hundred million Beli.
• Caesar Clown asked Du Feld for research funding, and Du Feld brought him to Big Mom’s Tea Party to meet a new patron.
• Ai Haibara Meow pretended not to recognize Caesar Clown and insisted that the creature on her head was named Sherry, not Smiley.
• Ai Haibara Meow changed Sherry’s color with a potion, leaving Caesar Clown confused about her identity and condition.
• Caesar Clown decided not to challenge Xie Wen’s companions and privately blamed Vegapunk for everything that had gone wrong.

Xie Wen and the cats attended Big Mom’s Tea Party, where he kept watch on Caesar Clown and observed the guests and Homies. The banquet began with Big Mom’s welcome, and a photograph of Mother Carmel was brought to the main table, prompting Xie Wen to wonder how Big Mom would react to the truth about her.

At Big Mom’s Tea Party, Xie Wen hinted that Mother Carmel had ties to the World Government, prompting Big Mom to seek answers and Stussy to question him. Robin covered for Xie Wen, and the chapter ended as Du Feld introduced Caesar to Big Mom.

• Xie Wen told Big Mom that Mother Carmel had saved the Giant Warrior Pirates and suggested the Giant Tribe might know where she went.

Xie Wen watched Caesar seek funding from Big Mom, who agreed to support his giantification research after demanding that he bring Giant Tribe residents to Totto Land. Klee Meow and Ai Haibara Meow exposed Caesar’s lies, and Big Mom confronted him with a choice between his life and the truth.

• Caesar first pitched his Dead Nation weapon to Big Mom, but she rejected it and asked for technology that could help her find Mother Carmel.
• After Big Mom threatened him, Caesar promised to develop giantification technology and secured her funding and time for research.
• Klee Meow pointed out that Caesar was lying, using her Observation Haki to support her claim.

After Caesar Clown died at Big Mom’s hands, Xie Wen and the cats stayed in Totto Land and mingled with the Tea Party guests. Stussy tried to probe Xie Wen and the cats about Punk Hazard and Vegapunk’s research, but they gave her no useful information.

• Big Mom pulled Caesar Clown’s soul out, killing him, after Klee Meow and Ai Haibara Meow helped bring about his defeat.
• Big Mom offered the cats a reward, and Ai Haibara Meow asked to stay in Totto Land for a few more days after the Tea Party.
• Xie Wen and his companions met influential guests who approached them to build connections after Big Mom showed she would not pursue their earlier conflict.
• Stussy questioned Xie Wen about Punk Hazard, and he described how he and the cats had dispersed poison gas and rescued prisoners there.

After spending nearly half a month visiting Totto Land, Xie Wen and the cats left Big Mom’s territory without incident. As they sailed toward Zou, they spotted ships watching them from a distance and continued on their way.

• Xie Wen and the cats visited all thirty-five islands in Totto Land while Big Mom kept trying to arrange a marriage for him.
• Xie Wen hurried the group aboard the Toot Toot Forward after two Charlotte daughters tried to sneak into his room, and Big Mom let them leave without a fight.
• Jinx Meow complained that she had not gotten revenge on Katakuri, so Xie Wen promised to let her and Klee Meow fight him together next time.
• Shalmeow spotted ships watching the Toot Toot Forward, and Hua Mei Meow stopped Jinx Meow from attacking them.
• Xie Wen cheered up Jinx Meow and followed Lindbergh’s Vivre Card toward Zou.

Xie Wen and the cats woke to find several of them pranked with black dye, makeup, and drawings, then tried to identify the culprit. Xie Wen suspected Toot Toot Forward, who appeared from behind the mast and startled Ai Haibara Meow.

• Ai Haibara Meow attacked Xie Wen after waking up pitch-black, and Klee Meow and Shalmeow laughed at her appearance.
• Shalmeow discovered that her face had been covered in heavy makeup, while Jinx Meow found graffiti drawn across her face.
• The crew discovered that many cats and Robin had been pranked with drawings, though Xie Wen, Klee Meow, Purah, and Hua Mei Meow had been spared.
• The victims suspected Klee Meow, Xie Wen, and Meowrah, but each denied being responsible.
• Xie Wen accused Toot Toot Forward of carrying out the pranks, and the unfamiliar Palico peeked out from behind the mast, startling Ai Haibara Meow.

The Toot Toot Forward’s Klabautermann appeared as a kittenlike being called the Dudu and was welcomed by Xie Wen and the Palicoes. The Dudu explained why she had hidden and revealed that she had avoided drawing on Xie Wen because he often cleaned her.

• Xie Wen recognized the newly appeared kitten as the Toot Toot Forward’s Klabautermann, and Robin and Shirahoshi realized Klabautermann were real.
• Klee Meow recalled that the Dudu had helped during the fight with Kaido while controlling Dudu Valstrax.
• Xie Wen invited the Dudu to meet everyone, and she spoke to them telepathically before the others forgave her for her prank.

Their research revealed several traits of her Klabautermann form, while Ai hoped it might help the Spark Knight and the Anglerfish develop Klabautermann too.

• The Dudu’s Klabautermann stayed visible, played with the youngsters, and took over steering the ship, leaving Xie Wen with even less to do.
• Ai Haibara Meow and Meowrah dragged the reluctant Dudu into the laboratory for their daily experiments, while Little Plushie backed down from helping her.
• The Dudu discovered that food passed through her body and that she could drink but could not taste anything; eating a Devil Fruit was ruled out because it would keep her ship body from sailing.
• Ai Haibara Meow and Meowrah found that the Dudu’s Klabautermann outfit changed with her main body’s forms, but her physical abilities remained constant and could not be improved through training.

• Wanda led Xie Wen and the others to Inuarashi’s workplace, where he welcomed them as one of the Mokomo Dukedom’s kings.
