Unlike other Klabautermann, who liked hiding from people, the Dudu's Klabautermann never disappeared again after appearing. She spent all day hanging around with Klee Meow and the other youngsters.

Although the Dudu had seemed like a troublesome Little Furball Cat when she first appeared, Hua Mei Meow's workload had not actually increased because of her arrival. Instead, things had become much easier.
After learning that the Dudu had a Klabautermann, the Little Furball Cats tried to avoid damaging the ship when they got into mischief, provided they had not gotten too carried away. So although there was now one more Little Furball Cat, the level of havoc had actually decreased somewhat.
Of course, the price of having them torment the ship less was that a certain Monster Hunter, nominally the Sapphire Star but actually a cat tree, naturally became their substitute...
Xie Wen already had two cats permanently stationed on his shoulders, leaving him in a state of having "Palico Shoulder Armor" equipped. With the addition of the Dudu, an even smaller Klabautermann cat, his head now sported a "Cat Headpiece" as well.
What was more, the little Dudu especially liked lying backward on Xie Wen's head, dangling her large, brushlike tail in front of his face and swishing it every so often...
It was as though Xie Wen's face had acquired an oversized windshield wiper.
Apart from that, the Dudu also lightened Hua Mei Meow's workload when it came to sailing.
A Klabautermann could freely control her own ship's rudder and sails, so now Hua Mei Meow only needed to tell the Dudu whenever they needed to change direction. She no longer had to constantly have Xie Wen or the cats, whose sense of direction was quite average, adjust their course
