Once she had adjusted to the enormous amount of information that had suddenly appeared in her mind, Momousagi thought back and discovered that the training method for that sword style, which combined splendor and power, had been engraved in her mind in its entirety. How could she describe it? To Momousagi, it felt like watching a movie in her head. Huh? What was a movie? Momousagi wondered why that strange term had suddenly occurred to her, though, for some reason, it did seem quite accurate.
Composing herself, Momousagi walked up to Su Yu and bowed deeply. He had passed on his teachings to her, a kindness that meant even more to a swordsman. So, at that moment, Momousagi was truly grateful to Su Yu. Whatever his purpose or whatever designs he might have on her, what he had taught her was real.
Su Yu accepted her bow without hesitation.
After bowing, Momousagi remained where she stood, waiting for Su Yu's next instructions. She did not think-or rather, did not believe-that there was such a thing as a free lunch in this world. Even if there was, it would only be a tempting trap that made whoever took the bait pay an even greater price later. So she felt certain Su Yu had something planned for her.
In fact, when Su Yu first said he would teach her swordsmanship, she had wanted to refuse. She wanted to hear his purpose first before deciding whether to accept. But after watching Su Yu demonstrate it once, she simply could not bring herself to say no. Or rather, by then, the thought of refusing had completely vanished from her mind. She could not help it. That sword style was just too irresistible. She felt it would be worth any price!
"What's with that expression?
