Boom-

With a thunderous crash, a burly, muscle-bound man smashed through the tavern wall and flew outside. Judging by the blood on his body and his twisted expression, this had not been his choice.

Then a much smaller figure chased him out through the gaping hole. He wore a dazzling, striking suit of metal armor, with a pair of metal wings on his back that gleamed in the sunlight.

It was none other than Miland, who had set out to sea for revenge!

The burly man lay on the ground, struggling for a long time without managing to get up. He looked up at Miland, who slowly approached him, his eyes filled with terror.

Half an hour earlier-

Following the pointer's guidance, Miland had flown through the night and arrived at a small island. The pointer indicated that the people he sought were currently on this island.

He folded his wings and landed, his feet touching the soft earth. Strangely, despite flying all night without sleep, he showed no sign of exhaustion. Instead, he was full of energy.

He put away his Cloth, stretched his limbs where he stood, then took out the pointer again and strode briskly in the direction it indicated.

At last, he reached a tavern. The moment he entered, a nauseating mixture of sweat and stale alcohol hit his nose. It suddenly reminded him of the faintly fragrant air in the boss's little bar. The contrast could not have been sharper.

The sudden arrival of a "frail," delicate-looking youth immediately caught the attention of the pirates drinking inside. Their malicious, leering gazes fell on him.

But Miland ignored their stares. With a quick glance around, he found the faces he would never forget for as long as he lived. They belonged to the Fierce Wolf Pirates-the murderers who had killed his parents!

Miland's eyes instantly reddened. Step by step, he approached the Fierce Wolf Pirates.

Miland stared hard at those hateful faces. "Do you still remember a village called A Queen? Do you still remember me?"

One of the Fierce Wolf Pirates stared drunkenly at the youth standing before him and jeered, "Who the hell are you, brat? Come to ask me for candy?"

His words seemed to tickle the others. They all burst into raucous laughter, clearly thinking nothing of Miland.

In truth, as pirates, they had slaughtered more villages than they could remember and killed countless people. How could they possibly remember some nobody like Miland?

But their careless indifference snapped the last thread of restraint in Miland's mind.

He instantly donned the [God Cloth of Pegasus], unleashing a powerful aura that shocked the pirates into silence. They were veterans of bloody battles, after all, and their instincts were sharp. The moment they sensed that aura, they knew he was no pushover. But quick as their reactions were, Miland was quicker.

He threw a furious punch straight into the face of the man who had spoken and laughed the loudest. Had the scene been filmed in slow motion, it would have shown Miland's fist slowly touching the pirate's face, which instantly distorted and began caving inward. Then his entire face sank in, as though it had become a hole. Finally, as Miland drove his fist forward, the man inevitably went flying.

But that seemingly lengthy process took less than a second. By the time the pirates came to their senses, the fellow who had caught the punch with his face had already slid down the wall onto the floor, twitching occasionally. With his face reduced to a crater, he probably would not survive.

"You bastard!" Fierce Wolf, captain of the Fierce Wolf Pirates, roared. He raised an enormous serrated cleaver and swung it straight at Miland's neck.

But Miland had already noticed Fierce Wolf approaching. He swiftly shifted aside to dodge the blow, then lashed out with a kick to Fierce Wolf's chest, sending him flying.

Ignoring him, Miland charged at the pirates who had once entered his home. A few swift, clean punches ended their lives.

"You're asking for death! I'm the captain of the Fierce Wolf Pirates! You think you can beat me just by wearing some weird armor?!"

Seeing Miland ignore him to slaughter his crew instead sent the captain of the Fierce Wolf Pirates into a rage. He was not angry because his crew had died, but because Miland had dared to disregard him. Wasn't that looking down on him?

He rushed up to Miland in an instant and viciously swung his serrated blade, coated in Armament Haki, at Miland's face.

Ten minutes later, Miland drove a heavy, powerful kick into Fierce Wolf's stomach. Fierce Wolf flew backward, smashed through the tavern wall, and landed in the street.

Inside the tavern, every member of the Fierce Wolf Pirates lay on the floor. Pools of blood littered the ground in a gruesome sight.

The pirates from other crews merely watched coldly, helping neither side.

Outside the tavern, Fierce Wolf struggled for a long time without managing to get up. His earlier swagger was long gone. Now he looked as wretched as a dog with its legs broken.

He looked up at Miland's expressionless face, his eyes full of terror. This youth had just slaughtered his crew with effortless, ruthless punches, one man per blow. Yet his own counterattacks had been no more than an itch to Miland, unable to hurt him in the slightest. Where the hell did this monster come from?

"S-spare me! What have I done to offend you? There's plenty of treasure aboard my ship. I'll give you a-all of it! Just spare my life!"

With death looming before him, Fierce Wolf abandoned all concern for his dignity and promptly begged for mercy.

Miland stared fixedly at Fierce Wolf. "Do you still remember that village called A Queen? I had a happy family once, too-until you, the Fierce Wolf Pirates, came to our village!"

By the end, Miland's teeth were clenched tight, his fists balled, and a chilling murderous intent blazed in his eyes.

Hearing this, Fierce Wolf inwardly cursed, his heart sinking. This is bad. He has a grudge against me-a blood feud!

But my crew isn't some ordinary pirate crew. We're affiliated with the Donquixote Family!

"Brat, y-you can't kill me! I'm with the Donquixote Family! M-my boss is Doflamingo, one of the Shichibukai! If you kill me, you'll be making an enemy of a Shichibukai!"

"Doflamingo?"

Fierce Wolf thought the name of the Shichibukai had frightened Miland. His arrogance immediately returned, and he gave a smug, sleazy grin.

"That's right, Doflamingo. You know what being a Shichibukai means, don't you? They're the people standing at the very top of these seas. You're strong, but compared to a Shichibukai, you're still..."

Fierce Wolf never finished, and he never would. Miland simply lifted his foot and stomped his head flat, while the smile of a man who thought he had escaped death still lingered on Fierce Wolf's lips.

The horrifying sight terrified the onlookers, who screamed and fled.

Miland stood where he was, taking a moment to collect himself. Suddenly, he felt lost. He had finally taken his revenge, but once the initial satisfaction faded, all that remained inside was emptiness.

Then he remembered that he was not without anything to do. He still had to go back and work for the boss. At that thought, Miland seemed to suddenly find a new purpose in life, and his eyes slowly brightened.

He left enough money to compensate the tavern owner. Of course, he had no money himself, but the dead pirates did!

Then, with a beat of his wings, he soared into the sky again and flew toward the Sabaody Archipelago.

Only the wreckage inside the tavern remained...
