After hearing all that Su Yu had said, Thanos actually felt as though he had just awakened from a long dream.
On the surface, he still looked utterly lifeless, but inwardly, he was startled.
When had he become so obsessive?
Just when had the idea of killing half the life in the universe entered his mind?
He suddenly fell into self-doubt.
It was as though he had fallen into a vortex, spinning endlessly, sinking endlessly, gradually slipping into darkness.
"Wake up!"
Just as darkness was about to fill Thanos's vision completely, a thunderous voice suddenly rang out beside his ear.
He snapped awake with a start, only to find that he was still in the blind box shop.
Then he suddenly felt his body go weak. Had Su Yu's power not still been holding him in place, he would probably have dropped to his knees by now.
"I... what's happening to me?"
Su Yu said mildly, "Ah, nothing. You've just finally broken free of the curse of knowledge."
"The curse of... knowledge?" Thanos repeated instinctively.
Su Yu did not answer immediately. Instead, he bent his knees and sat down. At the same time, a sofa appeared right beneath him, catching his body perfectly.
He shifted into a more comfortable position before saying, "After obtaining the Infinity Stones, which are powerful enough to accomplish anything, someone who shared your thinking should first think of creating endlessly renewable resources, or something similar. In any case, it would be creation, not destruction.
"But your first thought was destruction.
"On one hand, that was because you were so absorbed in knowledge that, to some extent, your thinking had drifted beyond the bounds of life.
"On the other hand, it was because of information interference."
Thanos said, "Information interference?"
Su Yu said, "Exactly! Information interference.
