Stark Tower, top-floor conference room.
The Avengers were all there, as was Nick Fury.
Nick Fury had just explained the cause, course, and outcome of the game incident to the Avengers.
Then Su Yu's notification appeared in their minds.
They exchanged glances, then all selected yes without any hesitation.
As soon as they made their choice, a line of text appeared in the upper-right corner of their vision.
Participant count, followed by a rapidly rising string of numbers.
It had started at three digits, but in the blink of an eye, it became five.
Within just a few seconds, that number had passed a million.
Then, after everyone blinked a few more times, it shot straight up to five million.
They looked at one another, their expressions somewhat stunned.
This was the first time they had learned that so many people had found the mystery box shop.
Nick Fury folded his arms, thinking that the mystery box shop probably had other wonders they had yet to discover. Perhaps it could appear in different places around the world at the same time?
Come to think of it, hadn't Su Yu said that his real body was recovering from injuries, and the one serving customers was a clone?
Who knew how many clones he had!
While their minds wandered, the participant count easily passed ten million.
By then, the rate at which the number rose had slowed.
Everyone was speechless at the sight, and at the same time, an immense pressure welled up inside them.
Su Yu had said that this game did not need too many participants.
Ten million people-oh, it was twenty million now. That was clearly far too many.
It seemed the qualifiers were unavoidable.
And to think they had assumed there would only be a few hundred participants...
