Although he had expected it, Snape's expression still grew darker and darker. If Dark Warlocks ever invaded Hogwarts, all they would need was an army of Boggarts to defeat every student without a fight.
"Finnigan!"
Snape called the next person. Seamus Finnigan swallowed and stepped forward stiffly. As the cabinet door opened, a female ghost floated out, her black hair trailing on the floor and her face nothing but a skull.
For a moment, Seamus seemed unable to breathe. He stared straight at the ghost, and only when she drew close did he remember to wave his wand. "Wingardium Leviosa!"
Boom!
With the explosion, the ghost before him and the cabinet were blasted away. If Snape had not dodged in time, even he would not have escaped.
"..."
Seamus scratched his head blankly, then suddenly shouted in excitement:
"Huh? I did it! I did it, Professor!"
The corner of Snape's eye twitched, and he gritted his teeth. "Very good! Twenty points to Gryffindor!"
He reluctantly awarded Seamus the points, restored the blasted cabinet, and looked at Harry Potter.
"Harry Potter."
Harry took a deep breath and slowly walked forward.
"I'm ready."
With a gloomy expression, Snape opened the cabinet door.
A person stepped out of the cabinet, his face seemingly burned, his features indistinct and grotesquely twisted like wax, the whites of his eyes bloodshot. Harry's eyes widened at once.
Before he had time to feel afraid, he felt an intense burning pain in the scar on his forehead. He immediately calmed down and waved his wand with a shout. "Expelliarmus!"
A red spell shot from his wand straight toward "Voldemort," but the instant before it struck, Snape sent him back into the cabinet first.
"???"
Everyone present except Audrey looked bewildered, unsure why Snape had suddenly intervened.
"Very good!"
