Then they both pushed him toward Audrey at once. "Done loving you. Here he is back, Audrey."
"Thank you."
The brothers bowed and stepped back in unison. "You're welcome~"
Audrey laughed. "Those two clowns bring happiness to everyone around them, except..."
Edward finished for her, "Ron."
"All right, is there anything you want to buy? Shall we have the owner wrap everything up, like at the sweet shop just now?"
"And then hand it out to all the students? Mr. Filch would go mad!"
After some browsing, Audrey bought some amusing but mostly harmless prank props, intending to give them to Ron, Harry, Malfoy, and the others.
As they left the joke shop, Audrey couldn't help yawning. "Where are we going next?"
"Hmm, one last place. The Hog's Head."
"Another pub?"
"This one's different. It's more... filthy."
"Huh?"
The Hog's Head consisted of just one small, dark, extremely dirty room. A strong smell of goats reached them from a distance. Thick grime coated its few bay windows, letting almost no light through.
They pushed the door open and went inside, finding everything filthy, from the floor to the ceiling. Even the Butterbeer bottles were covered in a thick layer of dust. Compared with this place, the pirate taverns they had visited in Bayam seemed clean and sanitary.
Audrey resisted the urge to cast a few cleaning spells and looked around the pub. Quite a few wizards were seated inside, and at one table sat none other than Professor Snape and Professor Flitwick. They were drinking and chatting, and hadn't noticed the pair.
A painting hung on the wall behind the bar. It depicted a frail young girl holding a Black Book in front of emerald vines, looking melancholy.
Their arrival immediately attracted the attention of several tables near the door.
