Quite a few Rhosid natives lived on this small island, most of them driven off Bayam Island by the Loenese. These natives scattered across the islands formed the main body of the Sea God Church and the Resistance Army.
Today, he would give the natives of Eshim Island a lesson in person as the Sea God's Messenger. Half an hour later, the small fishing boat reached shore in an area thick with reefs. Edward flashed onto the shore and used the Dowsing Rod Method to find his way to a nearby Small Town.
Compared to Symeem Island, the town on this island looked more primitive. Only Rhosid natives with their characteristic dark skin could be seen on the streets.
Edward wore a lightweight dark trench coat and a gentleman's hat, carrying a Sea God Scepter transformed from a wooden stick. He looked completely out of place among the residents, so interested parties noticed him the moment he entered the Small Town.
He had just reached a fruit stall, intending to buy a coconut to quench his thirst, when a man with a scar on his face hurried over. "Are you... Mr. Messenger?"
Edward nodded. "I am."
"Please come with me."
With a respectful expression, Scarface led the way for Edward. They soon left the Small Town and entered the undeveloped Deep Forest. Under pressure from Loen and the Church of Storms, both the Sea God Church and the Resistance Army had built their bases deep in the forest, or even underground, as on Tiana Island before.
Before long, they reached a lake. Scarface looked apologetic.
