After a long while, Mr. Fool said calmly, "I'm not sure exactly what the space filled with grayish-white fog you mentioned is, so I can't give you an accurate answer."
"Of course, if you have more clues, perhaps I can help answer your question."
Bernadette bowed. "I understand."
"Let's end here for today."
After cutting off contact with everyone, Klein sat in the Bronze Chair, pressing his temples. Bernadette's question still lingered in his mind:
Did that other space filled with grayish-white fog refer to the Twilight Hermit Order's gathering place, or was there really another Above the Gray Fog in this world?
An inexplicable thought suddenly occurred to him: Could every transmigrator have been given their own Above the Gray Fog? For example... did that girl I met on Symeem Island also have one of her own?
Surely... that couldn't be the case.
If so, the three-line invocation I designed... shouldn't be able to point accurately to me.
After a long while,
Klein shook the jumble of thoughts from his mind. "I'd better hurry up and finish digesting the Faceless potion... then find Queen Mystic to advance to Sequence 5."
"Medici, where did you just go?"
The moment Medici returned, he found Priscilla looking everywhere for him. "You weren't secretly doing something bad behind my back, were you?"
Medici snorted. "Would I need to hide it from a brat like you if I wanted to do something bad? I could do it right in front of you, and you wouldn't even know."
"I'm not that stupid!"
"What did you talk about at your gathering today?"
Priscilla sat down on the sofa, picked up a glass of fruit juice, and spoke as she drank. "Nothing much. Just commissions, trades, and things like that."
"Did that kid show up?"
"No."
