A wisp of faint mist slipped into the Resurrection Stone. Accompanied by a piercing scream, the stone shuddered repeatedly, only settling down after quite a while.

Edward tightened his grip on his wand, ready to cast Fiendfyre at any moment, and carefully picked up the Resurrection Stone with his other hand.
It felt scorching hot, like a heated lump of iron, but its temperature soon dropped, turning it into a piece of ice. A moment later, information about the Resurrection Stone flooded his mind.
After absorbing the energy spilling out of Sefirah Castle, the Resurrection Stone had indeed become a Beyonder item, gaining four Beyonder abilities:
The first, [Resurrection], allowed its holder to resurrect immediately upon dying, but could only take effect once.
The second, [Zombie], consumed spirituality to revive the dead, turning them into uncontrollable zombies with the abilities they had possessed before death. Being uncontrollable meant they could not distinguish friend from foe and could easily hurt the user.
The third, [Wraith], consumed spirituality to let the soul leave the body, with no time or distance limit. However, if the soul failed to return before its spirituality ran out, it would never be able to return, becoming a mindless wraith spirit.
The last was [Unknown], an ability that had yet to be activated.
