"The one chasing me?" She looked at the sludge on the ground. "You mean that? It's a big dog."
"...It's a dog?"
"Yeah, a contaminated big dog. That's what people in the safe zones call them."
Safe zones. A new piece of information.
"What do you mean by safe zones?"
"They're, well, safe places. The Chosen One organized their construction. Everyone who survived lives in one of the safe zones now. Don't you?"

"So only people like me can come out."
People like her? People with Beyonder Abilities? Her jumping ability, strength, agility, and resistance to blows were indeed impressive.
"Then do you know why this world... no, this city ended up like this?"
"Because of the contamination."
She wore an expression that said, "You don't even know that?" "The contamination came, and lots of people died. Lots of people were contaminated, too. Then The Chosen One appeared, and everyone left went to live in the safe zones."
"What is the contamination?"
"I don't know."
She shook her head, firmly knotted the sleeves of the clothes she had bundled up, and lifted the bundle easily. "Okay, I'm heading back now."
"Wait."
The girl immediately shielded her supplies and glared at him
