Edward captured Ludwell and took the surviving pirates aboard the Black Tulip, while Audrey joined the Psychology Alchemists after meeting Alday at Glaint's salon. Aboard the Nameless, Olivia confessed to killing Adelaide, and Klein used divination to verify her claim.

• Edward sent the unconscious Ludwell into the Spirit World, then brought the surviving pirates aboard Red Hair's ship.
• Edward shrank the Black Tulip and stored it in his Suitcase before beginning a lecture on Beyonder knowledge for the pirates.
• At Glaint's salon, Audrey met Alday, who revealed she was the new head of the Psychology Alchemists' Backlund region and invited Audrey to join.

The chapter ended with Kottman pinning Kalvetua to a wall with a lightning arrow after the sea serpent destroyed the invading feathers.
