"Excuse me for interrupting." Just as Harry and the others were studying the differences between the students' uniforms and dress robes from the various schools, a cool voice suddenly sounded behind them. "Are you still eating this Fish Soup? They don't have it at my table."
"Of course we..."
Harry could tell from the voice alone, without turning around, that this must be the student who had sneered earlier. He turned, intending to say something like, "Of course we're still eating it."
But when he turned around, his voice caught in his throat. Every word after "of course" got stuck.
The same thing happened to Ron. Before turning around, the irritation and disdain on his face had been even more obvious than Harry's, but the moment he turned, he froze.
His face flushed bright red, and his eyes went blank as he stared fixedly at the girl standing behind him.
She was tall and well-proportioned. Now, at last, she had removed the scarf covering her head, and long, waterfall-like silver hair fell to her waist.
Harry suddenly understood why she had kept her head covered with a scarf even after reaching the Great Hall. With looks like that, leaving them uncovered could probably cause quite a commotion.
Hers was a face so beautiful it was almost unbelievable.
She had large blue eyes like the Aegean Sea and exquisitely flawless features. A faint smile now revealed a set of straight, white teeth.
Hogwarts certainly had no shortage of pretty girls, but Harry had truly never seen anyone this beautiful before.
"Finished... eating..." Harry struggled to squeeze another two words out of his throat. He felt as though his brain could barely work anymore.
"You've finished?" the girl asked again to make sure.
"Finished... we've finished, finished eating. It tastes very good..."
