When Harry and the others first learned that something might have gone wrong with Voldemort and driven him insane, they had not known whether it was good news or bad.
But after just one day, Harry and the others were certain it was bad news.
Within that single day, another incident involving Voldemort publicly attacking people with magic had occurred in Greece.
Then, on the second day, a similar incident took place in Italy. Monaco and France followed.
In less than three short days, Voldemort brazenly carried out seven attacks, killing more than a hundred Muggles and three wizards and injuring thousands. The incidents caused an enormous stir.
The various countries' Ministries of Magic were overwhelmed.
And judging by the trail of disturbances he left behind, he was heading toward the United Kingdom with great fanfare.
"What is Voldemort trying to do?" Harry looked utterly bewildered as he read the latest intelligence in his hands.
"Isn't it obvious? He's heading toward the United Kingdom. He must be coming to Hogwarts, right?" Ron said without thinking.
"But why would he cause so much trouble along the way?" Hermione did not quite agree with Ron's explanation.
"If he only wanted to come to Hogwarts or the United Kingdom, a few Apparitions would do it. There's absolutely no need to make such a scene."
"Well, when you put it that way..." Hearing Hermione's words, Ron immediately found them reasonable too.
Traveling long distances by Apparition was no easy feat, but it posed no problem at all for a wizard of Voldemort's caliber.
If he wanted to, he could travel from one end of the earth to the other in a very short time.
From Greece, where he had first appeared, reaching the United Kingdom should not even have taken a few minutes.
