• Trelawney gave Harry’s friends a prophecy about a Dark Lord’s servant escaping, while Hagrid told them one of her earlier prophecies had come true.
• Harry, Ron, and Hermione followed the black dog through the Whomping Willow and found Sirius Black, Professor Lupin, and Scabbers in a bedroom.
• Lupin and Black explained the Marauders’ history, and Hermione restored Scabbers to Peter Pettigrew, whom Black and Lupin accused of betraying the Potters.
