"Master Kamar-Taj, what brings you here?"

Wang Yang hurriedly invited Master Kamar-Taj into his room and brewed him some tea.

Master Kamar-Taj was a good teacher.

He was a decent man who took his responsibilities toward his apprentices seriously.

Naturally, Wang Yang was grateful for Master Kamar-Taj's guidance.

"I came to bring you some potions!"

Kamar-Taj waved a hand. A Portal swept past, and a box appeared before him.

Ding! Talent Fragment for the magic Portal detected. Fuse?

Wang Yang had never expected a Portal could be used this way. Naturally, he fused the fragment without hesitation.

"These potions were made here at Kamar-Taj. They're excellent for drawing out your body's strength, as well as helping it recover and grow stronger!"

Kamar-Taj pointed at the box as he spoke quietly.

Wang Yang nodded and opened the box, finding more than a dozen test tubes inside.

Each test tube contained some liquid.

"Thank you, Master Kamar-Taj!"

"I never expected Kamar-Taj to have anything like this, though!"

Wang Yang spoke with a smile.

Although most of Kamar-Taj's sorcerers possessed knowledge of both pharmacology and magic, these potions didn't look like something made simply by mixing medicinal ingredients.

Instead, they looked as though they had been refined using advanced technology.

"Wang Yang, we may be sorcerers, but we're not primitive people!"

"We use things that make life easier, too. You could say we keep up with the times!"

Kamar-Taj smiled and continued, "You should know that magic draws its power from nature, and technological development is also a natural progression!"

"So don't be prejudiced against new things. Have the courage to try them!"

Hearing Kamar-Taj's words, Wang Yang couldn't help smiling wryly. An old man several decades his senior was actually teaching him to embrace new things.

But Kamar-Taj was just that sort of place.

Besides, technology in the Marvel Universe was highly advanced. Even humans without powers could become incredibly powerful through technology.

Iron Man was one example.

The armor he built could even hold its own against Thanos and break through his defenses. Although it had only left a small cut, that was already an incredible feat.

With that in mind, Kamar-Taj using technology to strengthen its sorcerers hardly seemed unimaginable.

"I understand. Thank you for your guidance, Master Kamar-Taj!"

Wang Yang spoke respectfully.

Kamar-Taj smiled, then continued, "I heard you've started learning Combat Techniques?"

Wang Yang nodded. "Yes, Master Kamar-Taj!"

"Have you run into any problems? If there's anything you're unsure about, feel free to ask me!"

"Although combat isn't my specialty, I'm not entirely ignorant of it!"

Kamar-Taj regarded Wang Yang with admiration.

"Thank you, Master Kamar-Taj. If I have any questions in the future, I'll be sure to ask you!"

Wang Yang spoke with heartfelt gratitude.

Strictly speaking, he was no longer Kamar-Taj's student, so Kamar-Taj had no obligation to spend his time helping him. Yet he had brought Wang Yang potions and even offered to answer his questions.

That made Wang Yang deeply grateful.

Hearing Wang Yang's response, Kamar-Taj nodded.

"Good, Wang Yang. Make sure you practice diligently, and ask Wong whenever you have questions!"

"Combat Techniques might not seem particularly dangerous!"

"But at first, you won't be able to channel enough cosmic energy, which makes it easy to injure your body. So if you run into any problems, make sure you tell Wong!"

"I'm sure he'll help you resolve them!"

Kamar-Taj spoke with great seriousness.

Kamar-Taj did not teach Combat Techniques lightly.

Only those approaching the rank of sorcerer were taught Combat Techniques, precisely because there were considerable risks involved.

Apprentices couldn't control much cosmic energy.

The sorcerers' fighting techniques weren't just about physical combat. They had to be used in conjunction with magic, demanding a great deal of energy control.

Naturally, they could easily have harmful effects on the body.

It was like people who relied on their youth and strength to force themselves through excessive training. Doing so consumed their potential, and once they reached their limit, their bodies would inevitably break down. It could even shorten their lives.

That was why, upon learning that Wong had begun teaching Wang Yang Combat Techniques, he had immediately brought over potions to help his body recover and grow stronger.

"I understand. Thank you, Master Kamar-Taj!"

Wang Yang's reply was equally serious.

He knew Kamar-Taj meant well, and he certainly wasn't going to be ungrateful.

Kamar-Taj nodded, looking very pleased.

"Since you've already begun practicing Combat Techniques, let me see how good you are!"

"I'd also like to see how far the most gifted student I've encountered can progress in such a short time!"

Kamar-Taj raised a hand. Magic runes swirled, and the Mirror Dimension opened in an instant.

The Mirror Dimension was considered advanced magic. Even some veteran sorcerers couldn't master it.

Kamar-Taj was one of the few sorcerers who had mastered this spell.

Seeing this, Wang Yang felt a little awkward.

"Master Kamar-Taj, how could I possibly fight you?"

Looking at the rather elderly Kamar-Taj, Wang Yang truly felt uncomfortable.

"It's fine. I may only teach students and handle logistical work these days, but I fought on the front lines back in my day!"

"Just give it your all. I only want to see how far you've come!"

Kamar-Taj spoke with a smile.

Although he knew Wang Yang possessed extraordinary magical talent, fighting was different.

A single day of practice wouldn't make someone powerful. Everything still had to be learned one step at a time.

"All right, then, Master Kamar-Taj. I look forward to your guidance!"

Wang Yang spoke somewhat shyly.

Then the two of them entered the Mirror Dimension together.

Neither used a magical artifact. Instead, they used magic itself as their weapons.

Kamar-Taj was clearly a fairly traditional sorcerer, using a Magic Shield and Magic Chains that could serve as offensive weapons.

Wang Yang, meanwhile, used a longsword formed from magic.

"Come on!"

Kamar-Taj spoke as a golden Magic Shield formed in his hand.

"All right. Forgive me, Master Kamar-Taj!"

Wang Yang nodded and charged toward Master Kamar-Taj.

Weapons formed from magic weren't much different from real weapons.

Magic replicated the corresponding structure, and even the weight was almost identical to that of a real sword.

Whoosh!

At first, Kamar-Taj hadn't thought much of it. But when Wang Yang attacked, he realized that Wang Yang was far faster than he had imagined.

And magic runes were actually forming beneath Wang Yang's feet.

Combining magic and Combat Techniques? This kid had only been learning for a day?
