Three days passed.
Wang Yang devoted himself to training and finally mastered the Mirror Dimension completely.
Just as Wang Yang was debating whether to seek out Wong again.
After a long deliberation, Wang Yang finally made up his mind.
But when he opened his door, he saw Hamir approaching.
He had not seen Master Hamir in quite some time.
This time, Master Hamir looked particularly disheveled and exhausted. Even his once meticulously groomed beard had become rather untidy.
His eyes were bloodshot, too.
"Master Hamir, what happened to you?"
Wang Yang looked at Master Hamir before him and asked in confusion.
After all, Master Hamir was a rather unusual figure in Kamar-Taj.
Not only did he hold himself to strict standards, but he also had strong compulsive tendencies.
Something like this should have been virtually impossible.
This was the first time Wang Yang had ever seen Master Hamir in such a state.
"What happened to me? You have the nerve to ask?"
Hamir shot Wang Yang a fierce glare.
He was, after all, one of Kamar-Taj's foremost masters.
Naturally, he had his pride.
Before Kaecilius arrived, Hamir had considered himself the greatest genius beneath the Sorcerer Supreme.
Yet now, not only was Kaecilius more capable than him, but Wang Yang was also more talented.
How could someone as proud as Hamir accept that?
Ever since returning last time, he had been trying to figure out how to regain the dignity he had lost in front of Wang Yang.
"Wang Yang, I heard you've learned the Mirror Dimension!"
Hamir spoke eagerly, unable to contain his impatience.
"That's right, Master of the Mystic Arts. I've learned the Mirror Dimension!"
Although Wang Yang did not know what Hamir intended to do, he saw no reason to hide it now that Hamir had asked.
"Good. If you hadn't learned the Mirror Dimension, there would be some spells we couldn't test!"
Hamir spoke with an air of mystery.
He normally looked perfectly upright, but right now, there was something distinctly suspicious about him.
"Master Hamir, what spell do you want to test?"
Wang Yang scratched his head in confusion.
The Mirror Dimension was a copy of the real world.
Aside from combat, it was used by sorcerers to experiment with various spells.
In the Doctor Strange movie, the Sorcerer Supreme had taught Doctor Strange the Mirror Dimension precisely because he had mastered the powerful spells in the library.
Using the Mirror Dimension for surveillance, on the other hand, was rather a waste of its potential.
Still, he was very curious about what Hamir intended to do.
Something that even required his Mirror Dimension.
"I'll tell you when we get there. Open your Mirror Dimension."
Hamir kept it brief.
Although Wang Yang did not know what Hamir intended to do, Hamir would surely not harm him.
Wang Yang raised his hand and waved it.
The space before him crackled, and countless shards appeared in what had been an unbroken expanse.
Hm?
Hamir gave Wang Yang an incredulous look.
"You learned it far too quickly! You've already reached this level of mastery!"
Ordinary sorcerers needed incantations and gestures to cast a spell. Only after mastering it completely could they cast it at will.
Reaching that level required years of practice.
Hamir, for instance, had taken several years to reach it.
Yet Wang Yang had only been practicing for a few days.
He also seemed to sense something strange about this Mirror Dimension.
But when he examined it carefully, he could feel no difference.
He could arguably be called the most knowledgeable person in all of Kamar-Taj aside from the Sorcerer Supreme.
Yet even he could not fathom the depth of Wang Yang's Mirror Dimension.
Wang Yang truly was a monster.
Then he shook his head and stopped dwelling on it. He had not come here to study Wang Yang's Mirror Dimension spell.
The two of them then entered the Mirror Dimension together.
"Master Hamir, what exactly do you want to do?"
The more mysterious Hamir acted, the more curious Wang Yang became, until the curiosity scratched at him like a cat.
"Heh heh, teach you magic, of course!"
Hamir smiled and spoke cryptically.
"Does teaching me magic need to be this complicated? Is it another highly destructive spell?"
Wang Yang was rather curious.
"Not necessarily destructive, but it is certainly an indispensable spell!"
Hamir spoke calmly.
Although Wang Yang did not know what spell Hamir intended to teach him, he certainly would not turn it down.
"Then I'm sorry for the trouble, Master Hamir!"
Wang Yang respectfully cupped his hands.
"No need to be so polite, boy. Watch closely!"
Hamir waved a hand.
Then, with a movement of his palm, a golden chain appeared in his hand.
Wang Yang took a look.
Wasn't this just the simplest Magic Chains spell?
Wasn't it merely a magical weapon derived from a magic runes structure?
Was this really worth all Hamir's secrecy?
"What's with that look? This chain of mine is no simple spell!"
Hamir gave a snort.
"My Magic Chains are anything but simple. Watch closely!"
With that, he let out a loud shout.
His chain instantly split into hundreds of chains, which moved as though they were alive.
Wang Yang was not surprised by the sight. Magic Chains was a spell sorcerers commonly used.
Even Doctor Strange had used several kinds of chain spells.
Their power clearly was not particularly impressive, though. At the very least, none of them could restrain Thanos.
"What's with that look, boy?"
Somewhat displeased, Hamir continued, "This isn't just something derived from basic runes!"
"It contains the power of a Demon God!"
"You can call it the Vishanti Chains."
"The Vishanti are a trinity of Demon Gods, or gods, if you prefer. They are the source of our white magic!"
After briefly explaining the Vishanti, Hamir continued, "You need to divide their power into several hundred portions before you can cast it!"
Hamir spoke with some confidence. This was a spell he had deliberately chosen for Wang Yang.
And it was not something an ordinary sorcerer could easily master.
It required extremely precise control over mental power, and its demands on mental power were exceptionally high.
He felt that even some Masters of the Mystic Arts might struggle to learn it.
Only sorcerers with exceptional mental power and magical proficiency could master it.
He therefore did not believe Wang Yang could easily master this spell.
After hearing Hamir's explanation, Wang Yang abandoned his dismissive attitude and looked at him.
Indeed, these chains seemed somewhat different even from those Doctor Strange had used.
Most of Doctor Strange's Magic Chains were based on the Magic Shield, using the Basic Magic Runes Structure.
