After asking a few indirect questions at the shell shop, Nico Robin still had not learned anything useful, so she bought a few things and left.
"Angel Island is so big. How long would it take to explore the whole place?"
"Explore the whole place?"
A familiar voice suddenly sounded beside Nico Robin. Although it startled her inwardly, none of it showed on her face. Instead, she sighed calmly, turned her head, and said, "I have to look for the Poneglyph, after all. But the residents of Sky Island seem never to have heard of it. Boss, are you finished?"
"That's right. The Rumble-Rumble Fruit really was hard to deal with. If he'd been even a little more cautious, there wouldn't have been a thing I could do to him. Powerful Observation Haki, unparalleled speed, and astonishing destructive power. Too bad he was an idiot."
Karn immediately answered Nico Robin's question with an easy smile. If Enel had spent any time at all in the latter half of the Grand Line, Karn could never have taken him down so easily.
"But why are you asking them about the Poneglyph? I sent you to gather information on this island that would be valuable to the Karn Chamber of Commerce. That's what a vice president should be doing. Once you've finished collecting it, I'll take you to find the Poneglyph."
At that, Nico Robin immediately asked with some urgency, "Boss, you know where the Poneglyph is? Boss-"
But before she could finish asking, Karn vanished before Robin's eyes with Apparition.
"If that was the case, he should have made himself clearer from the start. What a whimsical boss..."
Nico Robin sighed. Although she had not immediately learned the Poneglyph's whereabouts from Karn, she could at least be certain
