The Sabaody Archipelago consisted of 79 trees, each with different buildings and a number, making places easy to find. It was almost impossible to get lost here, unless the person was carrying three swords.
The first twenty-nine were mainly lawless areas, gathering places for human traffickers, underworld forces, pirates, and the like. Most of those who had attacked the Karn Chamber of Commerce last time had come from here, but they had all been killed in the end, leaving many territories vacant and drawing others to fight over them.
Karn had nothing against dealing with villains, but he liked dealing with villains who had brains and could bring him benefits. Most pirates, however, were greedy by nature. When dealing with them, they were always thinking about biting a chunk of flesh off you.
In a bar on tree No. 21, Eustass Kid, captain of the Kid Pirates, was facing off against Roar of the Sea Apoo, captain of the On Air Pirates. Both were famous pirates, especially with their reputations as Supernovas, and naturally had formidable tempers.
