Nidavellir was not a conventional life-bearing planet either. Apart from Earth, which belonged to humanity, the other realms among the Nine Realms were much like Asgard, places with a round sky over a flat land.

Nidavellir, where the Dwarves lived, was no exception. Their forge, however, stood on a ring in space. That was where the Dwarves forged divine weapons. Gungnir, Mjolnir, and many others had come from there. A neutron star stood there, and the Dwarves could use its intense heat to melt materials.

Karn and Betty left after spending a few days in Asgard. They had visited every place they could, and Betty had treated the entire trip as a vacation, taking quite a few photos together as well.

Afterward, they flew their spaceship to the ring where the Dwarves forged divine weapons.

As they approached, Karn and Betty received a warning from the Dwarves. But after Karn showed Asgard's seal, the Dwarf King Eitri welcomed him onto the ring in space.

After they disembarked, however, Betty saw the unusually tall Dwarves and could not help asking quietly in confusion, "Karn, why are the Dwarves so tall?"

Ordinary Dwarves stood just over two meters tall, while the Dwarf King Eitri was over three meters. Apart from a small number of creatures, none in the Nine Realms stood taller than the Dwarves.

"Being a Dwarf has nothing to do with height. Think of Norse Mythology. There are stories about Dwarves in it."

Betty asked quietly in surprise, "Are those true?"

"Of course. Most of the people in those myths are real. There are still Asgardians on Earth."

Karn reminded her that most of Earth's mythological figures were real. Gilgamesh, for example, was an Eternal. Barring any surprises, Gilgamesh should already have been captured by the Superhuman Personnel Bureau.
