"I never expected Asgard's drinks to be so ordinary, but their food tastes much better than Earth's. I wonder how they raise their livestock. Karn, can we take some back?"
Betty spoke to Karn as she cut and sampled the beef on her plate. Asgardian beef was far better than the supposedly premium beef on Earth. She did not know whether it was because of the unusual environment, but it seemed to melt in her mouth, a completely different texture from Sea King meat.
It was juicy without being greasy, earning a decent rating even from Karn.
"I'll ask Loki later. My only concern is that this kind of meat might require a special environment to raise, but that's not a problem either. We can just establish a trade route."
Karn had high standards for food. Very few chefs on Earth could satisfy his palate anymore unless he supplied the ingredients himself.
Everyone in their party had an enormous appetite. Even Betty, who ate the least, could eat twenty jin of meat in one meal. However, she only ate that much when the food was delicious. Normally, she used Nutritional Potions to replenish what her body consumed.
But after coming to Asgard, they let themselves indulge a little. Asgardian Warriors had far stronger bodies than humans on Earth and needed far more food to replenish themselves. Only their drinks were a little disappointing, seemingly unchanged for thousands of years.
Before Karn's party finished lunch, several Asgardian warriors entered the hall and walked straight toward his seat.
There were three men and one woman, all wearing gleaming Warrior Armor. Their faces looked somewhat familiar to Karn. They were probably Thor's friends.
"Thank you for persuading His Majesty Loki."
After reaching Karn, all four placed their fists over their hearts in unison
