As the Eternity Witch's words fell, divine power that reached straight into the soul radiated outward.
Thanos's body immediately began to sink as though trapped in a mire, until only his upper half remained exposed above the ground, and he turned into a lifeless stone statue.
"Do you think he can succeed?"
The Eternity Witch asked, and then an identical voice came from within her body. "Thanos is currently the only god who hasn't been bewitched by us. He has a very high chance of passing the trial."
At that, a third voice rang out. "If he really passes the trial, wouldn't we..."
"Shut up!"
"You mustn't say that!"
"Hehe, that is merely our fate!"
Meanwhile, Lu Chen also saw Thanos enter the God Quarry and caught sight of the legendary Eternity Witch.
In the original work, the Eternity Three Witches were extremely mysterious, with very little information available about them. In appearance, they resembled triplet sisters, all clad in black wizard robes, with exceedingly alluring faces.
