Cletus Yronwood leaned against the doorframe, his manner languid and rakish.
He had inherited House Yronwood's distinctive tall frame and sharply defined features. A cynical smile hung on his face as he surveyed Arianne without restraint, his gaze lingering on the gauzy gown that revealed every curve.
"Ah, my beautiful princess. Only beside you does the sunlight of Sunspear feel less scorching."
After Cletus brought his father, Earl Anders, back from Tyrosh, Anders had taken him to Sunspear.
They had met Prince Doran and his family.
After comparing Quentyn's appearance with Arianne's and Trystane's, Anders had finally confirmed that Quentyn was an impostor.
Though furious, he could not openly lash out in the face of House Martell's power.
But after returning to Yronwood, Anders had continued to hesitate. Only recently had he finally resolved to accept Liu Qian's terms.
Anders had sent Cletus this time to go to Sunspear and coax information about Doran's plans out of Arianne.
Anders was quite confident about this.
He believed his son was handsome and rakish enough to attract the equally passionate princess.
And Princess Arianne was infamous throughout Dorne for her many lovers and unguarded tongue. Anything she knew could spread throughout Dorne by the following day.
Arianne raised an eyebrow slightly, a little surprised by the sudden visit from the notorious Yronwood heir.
She reclined on her couch, languid and alluring. "Cletus, what wind has blown you here from Yronwood?
"Or does your father think the wine in Sunspear suits your taste better?"
Cletus walked in with a smile and seated himself without ceremony on the cushion
