• Tyrion tried to evacuate the royal family as the High Sparrow’s mob seized Joffrey, killed him, and displayed his head above the city gate.
• Renly entered King’s Landing and crushed the High Sparrow’s uprising, but wildfire then consumed the city, Renly, and his followers.
• Gendry revealed that he was Robert Baratheon’s son, gained the Reach’s support, and was crowned before the Reach army invaded the Westerlands and clashed with Robb Stark’s forces.
• Liu Qian arranged for Daenerys to marry him, defeated Dothraki khalasars with Jelena, and returned with captives, warriors, and horses.
• Jaime escaped his dungeon, Rickard Karstark was executed, and Walder Frey and Roose Bolton slaughtered Robb and Catelyn at the Twins while Chai Yi rescued Edmure and Roslin.
• Tyrion learned the truth about Tysha, killed Shae and Tywin, and escaped with Sansa and the disguised Varys, while the real Varys was captured and executed.
• The Lannisters claimed victory over the Reach, and Viserys landed in the Stormlands with Dothraki warriors as Liu Qian maneuvered to draw Dorne into the conflict.
• Liu Qian comforted Sansa after telling her of Robb and Catelyn’s deaths, then persuaded Roslin to bear a child who could be presented as Edmure’s heir.

Viserys lost control of his invasion, and Stannis defeated the Dothraki and captured him and Tyrion. Mya Baratheon's coronation plunged the Vale into fighting, while Liu Qian agreed to lend fifty thousand Dothraki to Young Griff's cause.

• The Reach nobles found Highgarden devastated after Addam Marbrand withdrew and agreed to seek Samwell Tarly's release and offer Viserys limited support without fealty.
• Jhaqo bound Viserys and Tyrion and led the Dothraki to plunder the Stormlands, while Stannis sailed from Dragonstone and gained Storm's End through Cortnay Penrose's betrayal.
• Alliser Thorne died fighting an Other to give Jon Snow and Ygritte time to escape.
• Liu Qian offered Waymar Royce support in exchange for allegiance and gave him a claim that Robert Arryn was Littlefinger's son to spread in the Vale.
• Jhaqo attacked the Reach, Westerlands, and Dornish armies before Melisandre's shadow killed him, allowing Stannis to rout the exhausted forces and capture Viserys and Tyrion.
• Mya Stone helped Andar Royce escape the Eyrie, accepted Eson Arryn's proposal to become queen, and was crowned Mya Baratheon.

Jon gained Manderly support against the Boltons, and Liu Qian prepared to marry several women before landing in the Seven Kingdoms.

• Jorah Mormont was captured by Ramsay Bolton and tortured at the Dreadfort, while Jon Snow escaped the Others by boat and sailed away from Ygritte.
• Cersei arranged to repay the Iron Bank with plunder as Gregor Clegane’s forces sacked Runestone and Gulltown, killing the Royces and Graftons.
