"Die!"
"Die!"
"Die!"
"Hahahaha... Kill you all!"
Hidan brandished the Bloody Triple-Bladed Scythe with wide-open, sweeping motions, nailing all the lunging lizard monsters to the ground.
His expression was in a state of extreme excitement!
Although he had no idea where these monsters had popped out from, changing things up occasionally and offering a fresh batch of sacrifices to Lord Jashin wasn't a bad idea either.
Once the very last lizard monster was also hacked to death by him, Hidan couldn't help fixing his gaze on an entrance not far ahead.
He could sense that even more delicious sacrifices were waiting for him inside.
So he grasped the Bloody Triple-Bladed Scythe and walked in without the slightest hesitation.
Such a precious sacrifice-he had to take the lead in offering it to Lord Jashin!
Yet when Hidan walked into the entrance, the scene inside immediately left him stunned.
Winding, twisting caves spiraled and intertwined layer upon layer.
How was this possible?
Viewed from the outside, this kind of terrain could not possibly exist here!
And...
Looking back, Hidan found that the entrance he had entered through had vanished without a sound, replaced instead by hard stone walls.
Such a bizarre situation was enough to make anyone feel nervous.
Yet relying on his possessing [Immortality], Hidan didn't take it too seriously and marched straight ahead without a trace of fear.
As he walked and walked, Hidan lost all track of where he was.
He only felt that the sights in all four directions looked pretty much the same.
As for the way he had come, finding that was even more out of the question.
Hidan couldn't help frowning, cursing under his breath for bad luck.
He simply stopped wandering around blindly, found a spot against the wall, and sat down.
Though he didn't much like using his brain, since he was already lost, staying put and meeting changes with constancy was better than anything else.
He was sure those monsters would show themselves on their own.
Besides...
That bastard would track him down sooner or later.
Even though he didn't actually need it.
Hidan let out a proud, haughty cold snort in his heart.
After a few minutes passed, the surroundings remained dead quiet.
Yet Hidan's expression suddenly changed!
Because the Bloody Triple-Bladed Scythe he had placed right beside him... was gone?!
Though he had seemingly closed his eyes to rest, he had actually been vigilant against every little movement around him.
Yet now he had no idea when his weapon had vanished, or how it had disappeared?!
Hidan immediately stood up, gazing around vigilantly.
Then all of a sudden, his body stiffened.
A pale face with only a mouth, yet featuring four eyes across its forehead, appeared in the corner of Hidan's vision-and it was standing less than half a meter away right beside him!
"When?!"
Hidan gnashed his teeth, and without another word, slid a retractable pitch-black spear from his sleeve, viciously thrusting it toward the monster spotted in the corner of his eye.
However...
With a puff.
Clang!
The lower half of Hidan's right forearm was cleanly sliced off, flying and landing on the ground together with the pitch-black spear he was holding.
"Such speed!"
Hidan didn't care about the severed arm or the pain of the wound, quickly leaping backward to put some distance between them.
The monster before him had just exerted immense pressure on him.
Not to mention that terrifying speed which was hard for the naked eye to clearly capture, alongside the horrifying strength that easily snapped his arm.
What the hell kind of monster was this!
Hidan increasingly felt that this world was becoming a bit incomprehensible to him.
Yet in just such a trance-like moment, he lost track of his enemy's target once again.
The next instant,
A tremendous force arrived!
With a loud bang,
Hidan's entire body was sent flying backward, smashing through a thick, sturdy wall before tumbling continuously for over a dozen meters and finally coming to a reluctant halt.
"Ugh..."
Struggling to stand up, he felt a sweetness rise in his throat, and a large mouthful of fresh blood gushed out.
Not counting other injuries, that single blow just now had broken at least five of his ribs!
"Damn it!"
"I'll definitely kill you and offer you as a sacrifice to Lord Jashin!"
Hidan irritably stood back up, his eyes exceptionally fierce.
The next second, the Bloody Triple-Bladed Scythe spinning through the air at high speed magnified rapidly in his vision.
Boom!
"Where on earth has that fellow Hidan run off to?"
Shinji killed monsters to rack up points while searching for Hidan's whereabouts.
Just a short while ago, he suddenly discovered that he could no longer freeload Cursed Soul Points from Hidan, which couldn't help giving him a somewhat bad premonition.
Rather than assuming the bloodthirsty Hidan had thrown a tantrum and gone into hiding, he was much more inclined to believe that the guy had run into trouble-and extremely tricky trouble at that!
Fortunately, the commotion the two of them had kicked up tonight was too massive, coupled with Hidan's rather striking attire, so after asking around a bit, he finally arrived at the area where Hidan had last vanished.
"The traces of battle here are still very fresh, and to cause this shape of destruction, without a doubt it's only that Bloody Triple-Bladed Scythe. It looks like Hidan was right here fighting a Cursed Spirit not long ago..."
Shinji inspected the surrounding environment, quickly confirming that Hidan had been here.
Then he rapidly investigated, finding that ominous-filled entrance without expending much effort.
"If nothing goes wrong, that idiot Hidan must have entered the Cursed Spirit's true lair all by himself," Shinji cursed speechlessly.
At the same time, he knew that if Hidan had been willing to stay put and wait for him, he wouldn't be Hidan.
"Hoping there's still a chance to collect this idiot's corpse right now. Once my Bond Points hit one thousand and I get the reward, I'll chop you up and throw you into the ocean to feed the sharks, dammit!"
Grumbling curses, Shinji pulled out the Cursed Object [Perfect Perfume] and buried it in the earth before the entrance.
After finishing all this, he heaved the Kubikiribōchō onto his shoulder, sighed, and stepped inside.
As Shinji's figure instantly vanished, a wisp of black hair had already burrowed out of the ground, perceiving the surrounding situation like a radar...
Stepping inside, Shinji was instantly startled by the scene before him!
"This is... an Innate Domain?!"
"No, that's not it!"
"This is just a pseudo-domain constructed by forcibly interfering with reality using massive Cursed Energy."
"But to be able to pull this off... Without a doubt!"
"There is definitely a [Special Grade Cursed Spirit] existing here!"
Having reached this judgment, Shinji glanced back, and sure enough, the entrance he had entered through had vanished.
He could now confirm that the idiot Hidan's current predicament was definitely dire!
Once a Cursed Spirit reached the Special Grade level, it could be said to be two entirely different concepts!
A single [Special Grade Cursed Spirit] could easily slaughter dozens of [Grade 1 Cursed Spirit]s without breaking a sweat.
And what was even more terrifying was that the strength gap between Special Grades was sometimes even greater than the gap from Grade 1 to Special Grade!
Shinji faintly remembered that a certain King of Curses had once said: "You are Special Grade because your strength reached Special Grade, while I am Special Grade because the maximum only goes up to Special Grade."
