The famous Mr. Kars, the Ultimate Lifeform, had met his downfall by freezing in space, leaving him unable to gain momentum by discarding parts of his body and thus losing his chance to return to Earth.
Yet this vacuum, precisely because it was a genuine "vacuum," did not have the extreme cold he had imagined.
This phenomenon, consistent with basic physics, was undoubtedly good news for Dio.
He did not need to expend stamina endlessly maintaining his body temperature. As long as he kept the Diving Suit active, staying alive would not be too difficult.
Speaking of which, the confidence that had allowed Dio to venture straight in here had to be mentioned: his own absurdly impressive staying power.
At that moment, Dio maintained his Ripple Breathing using the oxygen in the Diving Suit's tank, while the oxygen was conjured from his Nen Aura.
And while Dio maintained Ripple Breathing, his Nen Aura rapidly recovered as Ripple was produced, allowing him to keep conjuring the oxygen needed to maintain Ripple Breathing.
A self-sufficient cycle was thus established. Honestly, Dio's endurance could be called downright bottomless.
But ultimately, having Dio, an Emission user, produce oxygen through Conjuration involved considerable losses
