Dio plopped down beside Bokushin and asked with seemingly easy familiarity, "Are you here for the Hunter Exam too?"
"Huh?"
Bokushin gave him a bewildered look, wondering whether she had misheard.
What was this guy talking about?
"Wh-what do you mean, 'here for the Hunter Exam too'?"
She deliberately stammered as she asked.
"Exactly what I said. I'm here for the Hunter Exam too."
"Aren't you a professional Hunter?"
Amid her shock, Bokushin felt a little relieved. At least Dio definitely wasn't here to arrest her.
"I never said I was a professional Hunter, did I-"
Dio suddenly leaned his head closer, staring straight into Bokushin's eyes as he asked quietly, "There's something I suddenly want to know. You and I have clearly never met, Miss Pochi, so why does everything you say keep giving me this feeling-that you seem very familiar with me?"

Bokushin's heart, which had just settled, jumped into her throat again.
She looked into those eyes so close to hers, filled with scrutiny and doubt.
"N-no. I saw you coming out of that Hunter Association building back then, didn't I? I thought you were a professional Hunter-"
Bokushin tried hard to act natural enough.
