Chapter 398: Inside × Battle × Footage
There was no set duration for the soak. According to Ging, each person would need one to two days.
There were seven of them now, divided into two groups. While one group soaked, the others stood guard.
After all, they were inside the Ancient City's research institute. No one could be sure what would happen the next second.
Joey was assigned to the second group, but he did not mind. He even planned to work with Ging on a way to preserve some of the original solution while Ida, Elena, List, and Dwun soaked.
They did not know exactly how effective the solution was, but calling something capable of increasing their strength priceless was no exaggeration.
At least, that was how Joey saw it, and he believed some of the Nen users he knew would feel the same.
"The storage technology is already here. Figuring it out will be a hassle, though." Despite saying that, Ging already had his eyes fixed on a nearby Nutrient Pod.
During the wait that followed, Joey studied Ging's notes off to one side while Ging began figuring out the Nutrient Pod. As for Razor, he diligently monitored their surroundings.
Of course, that monitoring was done with Nen Beasts in combination with the Gold Experience creations Joey had released.
So at the moment, he looked more like he was sitting there spacing out.
That peace did not last long. The next morning, a sudden roar from deeper inside interrupted all three of them.
The sound traveled all the way in through the passage outside.
The three exchanged glances before Ging spoke. "Take a look."
