Hogback looked Gin up and down, then glanced at the fifteen fighters behind him.
"You brought so much material? Today really is a good day."
Hogback clapped his hands, smiling brightly.
Then something flashed through the darkness behind Hogback!
Amid heavy footsteps, a massive figure emerged from the dark!
The monster stood over three meters tall, its body covered in patches of stitched skin-some white, some black, and some already blue and purple. Thick black thread held those patches together.
Three enormous suture lines crossed the monster's face, meeting over its nose in an X. Its eye sockets had no whites, only pitch-black hollows!
A zombie general!
Gin tightened his grip on his iron tonfas.
Behind him, the fighters quickly spread out.
"We'll handle the big one!" one pirate shouted. "Lord Gin, go after the guy in the white coat!"
Hogback smiled at that. "Come after me?"
With that, Hogback clapped his hands again.
More footsteps sounded in the darkness!
Dozens of zombies poured out of every corner deep inside the room!
There were ordinary sailor zombies, warrior zombies in armor, and several enormous stitched monsters-some with three arms, some with two heads, and some with a human face sewn onto their chests.
The moment the two sides collided, the heedless zombies scattered the fighters!
One man was surrounded by three zombies. His iron club whistled as he swung it, smashing one head apart, only for another zombie to lunge in and bite his arm. Screaming, he buried an axe in that head's neck. The zombie finally stopped moving, but its teeth still refused to release his arm.
"Salt! Who brought salt?"
"I didn't! Who said you needed salt against zombies?"
"How the hell should I know?"
"I brought some! King told us in advance! You brainless pigs!"
