When the data ribbons connected to Mo Yan, he considered dodging them.
But then he remembered that he could not keep fleeing the darkness that enveloped him, refusing to confront its depths.
So Mo Yan allowed the data ribbons to connect to him.
As segments of dark data were inscribed into his own data, Mo Yan cast a new spell-a program command.
Under the new program command, Mo Yan's Knightmon body immediately broke apart into countless fragments of data.
Then Knightmon's Chivalry Digicore absorbed and recorded all the chivalry data within that vast mass.
Meanwhile, Mo Yan's consciousness remained attached to the network constructed by the Twelve Digicores, directing the process and checking for gaps and omissions.
As the dark data continued filling the gaps left by the data the Chivalry Digicore had taken away, Mo Yan instructed the Chivalry Digicore to replace the Dark Digicore.
After he issued a series of commands, the Chivalry Digicore successfully took over the Dark Digicore's role in the halo, with only a slight disturbance.
However, because their powers had different attributes, the halo began reaching its limit after the DigiCore was replaced.
Seeing this, Mo Yan immediately accelerated the formation of the unknown data.
Upon receiving Mo Yan's new program command, the ten Digicores immediately unleashed their power to the fullest.
As a result, the data ribbons began transmitting the unknown data faster.
As the data transfer accelerated, discomfort and pain appeared on Witchmon's face.
Under Mo Yan's catalytic command, the production of unknown data soon reached its limit and stopped.
After transmitting the final segment of unknown data, the data ribbons also dissolved into motes of light and vanished.
Once the unknown data stopped forming, Mo Yan released the ten Digicores from their task of maintaining the halo.
After they stopped maintaining the halo, the ten Digicores circled rapidly around his body's data under Mo Yan's control, forming a data space that held the data in place.
This space was also one of the best environments for the birth of a Digimon.
Meanwhile, as the Dark Digicore settled into the main body's data, that data effectively gained a center once more.
With the Dark Digicore serving as their new core, Mo Yan's data had an anchor and no longer drifted aimlessly through the air.
And because Mo Yan had yet to consolidate a dark Digimon form of his own.
The data gathered around the Dark Digicore, forming a Digi-Egg as tall as a person.
Within the consciousness network constructed by the Twelve Digicores, Mo Yan looked at the dark Digi-Egg formed from dark data and considered what sort of dark Digimon he should create.
Suddenly, Mo Yan seemed to remember something.
He began examining the dark data that made up the dark Digi-Egg.
Before long, he found exactly what he expected within that dark data: a dark version of data resembling the Holy Ring's.
Looking at the data for this dark version of the Holy Ring, Mo Yan could not help marveling at the unfathomable mysteries of the unknown data. It could even replicate and alter the angels' most enigmatic Holy Ring.
Then, within the consciousness network, Mo Yan began consolidating this data to form a Dark Ring that would serve as a counterpart to the Holy Ring.
Soon, a dark version of the Holy Ring, dark gold all over and shimmering with black light, took shape within the dark Digi-Egg.
After the Dark Ring formed, Mo Yan used angel data as his reference framework and began editing the dark data to create a dark version of an angel.
Using his own angel data as a reference, Mo Yan soon finished editing the dark angel's basic data.
Once the Dark Ring, the dark angel's underlying data, and the other components were complete, Mo Yan needed to link the two and merge their data.
Only then could Mo Yan finish shaping this form.
Linking and merging the data made Mo Yan proceed with extreme care, afraid that a single mistake would force him to start over.
Fortunately, Mo Yan lived up to his reputation as Witchelny Academy's foremost Wizard prodigy.
The merging of the Dark Ring's data with the dark angel's went more smoothly than expected.
During the merging process, Mo Yan discovered that the unknown data was still playing a role.
After completing the linking and merging of the data, Mo Yan next needed to add and load the data for this form's abilities.
At this stage, Mo Yan did not add any overly extravagant abilities, nor did he indulge in the flights of fancy he had pursued when shaping his Angel Form.
All Mo Yan did was further develop the power carried by the Dark Ring and the dark angel's data.
Mo Yan valued future development more than immediate combat strength.
Further developing the dark data would allow this dark angel form's depth of data to reach a balance with his light angel form more quickly.
Only then could Mo Yan realize his idea of uniting the holy and the demonic within one body.
For the final step, Mo Yan needed to finish shaping this dark form's appearance.
At this stage, Mo Yan chose neither a traditional demonic appearance nor any other bizarre shape.
Instead, Mo Yan chose the appearance of a fallen angel he had seen online in his previous life.
With its appearance decided, the dark Digimon form within the dark Digi-Egg officially took shape.
"Dark Angemon, Champion, Virus-attribute Fallen Angel-type Digimon.
Clad in dark holy vestments, with a Ring of Despair representing despair above his head, a pair of pitch-black wings representing death on his back, and a Dark Holy Scripture representing dark power in his hands, he is a Fallen Angel-type Digimon who brings ultimate darkness.
This Fallen Angel-type Digimon was created by a soul from another world using Angel-type Digimon data, after using unknown data to simulate the Dark Ring, a dark version of the Holy Ring.
With a disposition as cold as darkness itself, Dark Angemon arrogantly looks down on all Digimon weaker than himself thanks to the power darkness grants him. Even when facing Digimon stronger than himself, Dark Angemon will never submit, but will fight to the bitter end.
His special move is Dark Chapter, in which he recites passages from the Dark Holy Scripture to plunge his enemies into darkness."
The dark Digi-Egg shattered, and a dark angel who looked almost exactly like Mo Yan's Angel Form appeared in its place.
Stimulated by this form, Mo Yan's Angel Digicore floated out uncontrollably.
White light flashed, and Flame Angemon · Divine Attendant Form appeared opposite Dark Angemon.
The angel representing light and the angel representing darkness simply gazed at each other in silence.
Perhaps it was because they looked so alike.
Perhaps it was because they shared the same origin.
The two angels with opposing attributes did not fight to the death the moment they met, as tradition would have dictated.
With his consciousness still within the network constructed by the Digicores, Mo Yan controlled the remaining nine Digicores, making them circle rapidly around the two angels.
As the Digicores circled, both angels began releasing their power at the same time.
