The sky was clear, and a gentle breeze blew.
Deep within a forest, a speck of light suddenly appeared, and someone stepped out of it.
It was a blonde woman, her long golden hair reaching almost to her waist.
She was tall and shapely, and her outfit was downright sexy: tight white clothing paired with several black leather straps.
Strangely, an iron mask covered the upper half of her face, hiding her eyes.
Stranger still, eight snowy-white wings drooped from her back. From a distance, they could have been mistaken for a white cape.
Clearly, she was a female angel.
More precisely, she was Angewomon, an Angel Type Digimon from the Digimon franchise!
This wasn't the Digital World, so why had Angewomon appeared here?
The reason was simple: she was a transmigrator.
Or rather, a transmigrator's soul had merged with this Angewomon's body.
"Whew, I made it out alive!"
Angewomon patted her ample chest and breathed a sigh of relief.
Although she was Angewomon, she wasn't the one from the main cast of Digimon Adventure. She was a minor background Angewomon from Digimon Savers.
She was an experimental subject captured by Kurata, the fifth series' villain, and barely even appeared on screen.
Kurata wanted to resurrect Belphemon, one of the Digital World's Seven Great Demon Lords. According to the story, her fate as a background Angewomon should have been to be broken down into energy and used as fuel for Belphemon's resurrection.
Fortunately, she had a cheat that allowed her to escape that hellhole before she became fuel.
The good news: she was safe.
The bad news: only temporarily.
[Name: Mo Si] [Species: Digimon · Ultimate · Free Type · Angel Type · Angewomon] [Skills: Holy Arrow, Heavenly Purple Light, Healing Light, Digisoul] [Evolution path: Insufficient conditions, unknown path] [Transmigration countdown: 30 days]
"What a bare-bones panel."
Mo Si muttered to herself.
This panel was her cheat as a transmigrator. So far, it seemed to have no use beyond displaying her status and letting her travel between worlds.
Judging by the transmigration countdown on the last line, she would have to return to her previous world in thirty days.
Before then, she had to gain enough power to protect herself.
Her gaze settled on the species field. "Why am I a Free Type, Angel Type Angewomon? Shouldn't I be Vaccine Type and Archangel Type?"
An Ultimate-level Angewomon should have been Vaccine-attribute and Archangel-type.
But she wasn't.
"...Could it be that I became Free Type because I'm a transmigrator, and because I only merged with some background extra of an Angewomon, I'm not even an archangel?"
Damn it, don't extras' lives matter too?
As Mo Si pondered this, she gave her breasts a squeeze.
Hmm...
They felt soft, and a strange, pleasant sensation traveled from her chest to her mind.
"Ooh! I may be a Digimon, but this really is a woman's body."
A Digimon's body truly was remarkable.
Mo Si pressed her lips together. Before merging with Angewomon, she hadn't been her current gender, but it was too late to say anything now.
She had already transmigrated and merged with this body. What was the point of dwelling on meaningless things?
A trivial matter of two or three inches...
I've already traveled to another world!
Free from reality's pull, no mortgage, no wedding cash gifts to pay-an ocean wide enough for any fish to leap, a sky high enough for any bird to fly!
Ah, this is wonderful!
Even so, when Mo Si reached below her lower abdomen, she couldn't help feeling a little wistful.
Hmm?
Heh, keep touching~
Nothing is true, everything is permitted!
"Ah!"
Suddenly, a scream rang out nearby.
"Hm?"
Mo Si looked toward the sound and saw an adorable little girl around ten years old with short white hair.
"What is it, Lisanna...?" A slightly older girl approached right after her. She had long hair, looked much like the first girl, and wore a black cloak.
She glanced at Mo Si and followed her arm with her eyes. After a second of silence, she immediately turned and shouted behind her, "Elfman, don't come over!"
Behind the two girls stood a tall boy, also white-haired.
They look a little familiar, Mo Si thought.
She withdrew her hand, took a step toward the three, and asked, "Hey, can you understand my language?"
The long-haired girl immediately shouted, "Stay away! You pervert!"
Good, they understand me perfectly.
Mo Si said, "Don't slander me without proof! How am I a pervert?"
The long-haired girl shouted, her face red, "You were just doing that... that thing! And you're saying you're not a pervert?"
That thing...
Mo Si couldn't help laughing. So they had seen what she was doing.
Doing something like that in broad daylight was admittedly a little perverted.
"Don't let appearances mislead you, children. Things are more complicated than you think."
Mo Si's voice was clear, her tone gentle and patient. Simply hearing it helped soothe their nerves.
The short-haired girl said, "Maybe she has her reasons, Sis. Maybe we've misunderstood her."
The long-haired girl frowned. Unwilling to linger over this, she said, "Let's go."
She then moved to lead the other two away.
The short-haired girl gave Mo Si a slight smile and followed the long-haired girl, while the big boy silently trailed behind them.
Clearly, the long-haired girl was the leader of the three.
Mo Si said, "Wait."
The long-haired girl turned back without a word, merely giving her a cold stare.
Mo Si got straight to the point. "My name is Mo Si. What are your names? I'd like to get to know you."
She wanted to learn about this world, and these three were a convenient place to start.
"I..."
The short-haired girl was about to answer.
"Lisanna!"
The long-haired girl called out.
At that, the short-haired girl immediately shut her mouth.
"We don't want to get to know you."
With that, the long-haired girl led the short-haired girl and the big boy away.
In the end, all Mo Si learned was that the short-haired girl was called Lisanna and the big boy was called Elfman.
"...I see. I think I've got the gist of it."
Mo Si started walking in the direction the three had gone.
As Angewomon, however, she was wearing high heels. Although they were only about five centimeters high, she still wasn't quite used to them.
Then I'll fly...
With a thought, Mo Si spread the eight wings on her back and began quickly familiarizing herself with the abilities of Angewomon's body-not just flight, but her various skills and even the clothing and equipment she wore.
Elsewhere.
Roar!
A green-furred magical beast leaped out of the woods and barred the trio's path like a bandit.
"A monkey?" Lisanna, the short-haired girl, cried out.
The magical beast was indeed a monkey-like creature, with green fur, a row of heart-shaped markings on its arms, narrow pointed ears, and a horn on its head.
At her words, the beast roared and actually spoke in a human voice. "I'm no monkey! I'm a vicious monster, Galian, known as the Forest Cannon!"
"It can actually talk!"
The short-haired girl paled in shock.
"It really is a m-monster, Sis..."
The big boy trembled and hid behind the long-haired girl.
"Lisanna, Elfman! I'll hold it off. Run!"
Gritting her teeth, the long-haired girl stepped forward and threw off her cloak, revealing a demonic arm.
"Gahahaha! I'll take the two girls home as my brides and kill that brat!"
The beast laughed wildly. The instant it finished speaking, it leaped high into the air and clasped its fists together, hammering them down at the long-haired girl.
Bam!
The long-haired girl screamed as she was sent flying like a kite with its string cut. She struck a distant tree and slowly slid down its trunk.
"Sis!"
The short-haired girl hurried to her side, while the big boy shakily moved to shield both girls behind him.
"Cough, cough! Damn it, the gap is too big..."
With the short-haired girl's support, the long-haired girl slowly stood up, blood seeping from the corner of her mouth.
"Keehahahaha! Time to die, brats!" An evil grin spread across the beast's face as it prepared to pounce on them.
Is this the end?
The long-haired girl closed her eyes in despair, thinking, I'm sorry. I still couldn't protect you, Lisanna, Elfman...
It all happened in a flash.
At that critical moment, an arrow of light descended from the sky, swift as lightning, and slammed into the ground in front of the beast.
Boom!
An instant later, the arrow exploded like a thunderclap, sending arcs of electricity in every direction.
"Ah, that hurts!"
Injured by the blast, the beast retreated again and again in fright.
Everyone looked toward the source of the arrow and saw a blonde woman flying through the sky, eight wings spread behind her-the very image of a female angel.
Backlit by the sun, she looked utterly sacred.
