Xu Zimo looked at him and could not help asking.
"How can you be so sure I will agree to these terms?"
The Demon King smiled.
"I cannot think of any reason you would refuse."
"With the Abyssal Demon race, you can fulfill any ambition you have."
"I also do not believe anyone would refuse such a great benefit."
Xu Zimo nodded slightly.
He acknowledged that what the other party said made sense.
But he pointed at him and slowly smiled.
"I can rule the Abyssal Demon race.
"But you must die."
"Because without you—or regardless of whether you live or die—it will not affect my rule over the Abyssal Demon race."
Hearing Xu Zimo's words, the Demon King could not help giving him a long, deep look.
He felt that Xu Zimo was not playing by the usual rules.

"Do you know where I come from?" the Demon King suddenly asked.

He pointed beyond the heavens.
"I come from the world outside."
"Do you know why East Pole Island is a sealed-off world?"
"Go on. I am quite interested," Xu Zimo said.
"About a hundred thousand years ago, a great war once erupted on East Pole Island."
"Two powerful empires crumbled and fell apart in that war."
"The victorious empire splintered into the present myriad nations.
"As for the defeated empire, before its powerhouses died, they sealed off East Pole
